BALLEY'S TOTAL FITNESS harassment, rip-off, liars, run-around, d****e bags, Internet, Nationwide

This company is the WORST ever! I had two reasons why i could get out of their contract [doctor's orders and moving to an area with no facility within 100 miles]. so, i went into the center, explained them everything and they told me to mail them the proof of new address and to call and talk to the main number and they would take care of it. so, i called, explained everything, and they told me they would take care of it, never mentioned needing money, nothing. so, a month later, i notice a charge on my bank statement from them. i called and they told me it was there mistake, they were sorry, they would take care of it. just incase, i sent proof of my new address AGAIN. a month later, same issue. so i closed my bank account. i called them... same run around. told me they would "take care of it" still no mention of needing anything but ANOTHER proof of address, i asked to be transferred to a supervisor and was told the same story but this time i asked about the money and the girl said "because we have given you the run around, we will take care of that". so, i sent yet another proof. then i didnt hear from them for a few months. then, i receive a letter in the mail telling me that i owe them $1,000. are they KIDDING?! so, yet again, i call. but this time, i'm beyond pissed. i told them they need to stop harassing me for money when i owe them NOTHING and they need to stick to their word and f***ing take care of it. i was told that they were "truely sorry" and would definately take care of it and blah blah blah. i asked if they needed another proof of address and they said no, they had mine. so then, about a month later, i get a call from a credit company telling me that they were calling for balleys and they they were trying to get money from me. so i explained everything to them and they agreed with ME and said they wouldn't fight for it and would sent it back to balley's. so, i didnt hear anything for about 3 months until today when this true b***h from ANOTHER credit company calls me to tell me that balleys is going to SUE me. I tried to explain everything to her and she not only wouldnt let me finish anything i said, but would treat me like a total piece of s**t the whole time. i ended up hanging up on her and calling back to speak to a supervisor.


so, now they are trying to sue me. i suggest NEVER going here. i know of two others who have had the similar issues. this company is a JOKE
