As a former employee with Ballys, i would definately not recommend you signing up with Bally Total Fitness. Once your in the contract, you are in. Its almost impossible to get out of the contract. You practically need to be sick or injured to get out of it. They wont let you out of it.

I got tired of how they were treating the members so i quit. At first, i just thought the members were lying to just get out of it. But then i realized, they were not. Ballys is in it only for the money. They dont care about the members at all. When you file a complaint, nothing ever gets done. It just gets read and thats it. The clubs are really dirty and not kept up. They have no intention of cleaning them. They just want your money. Thats it.

Starting in January 2010, you are going to have to be setup on automatic withdrawls or else you will not be able to get into the clubs. Clubs will not be taking payments anymore. They want you on automatic withdrawls, so that way you will forget about your payment. You will not be refunded if you wanted your money back. So i would say stay away from ballys and go somewhere else. i am happy i am not working for them anymore. i left because i couldnt stand how they treat the members. They dont care at all what the members think. They just want your money. Thats all.
