Bank of America Held my money and BOUNCED my checks!! the business that doesn't give a dam Buena Park California

I deposited a $19,000 + check into my account with B of A. I did it thru the ATM since I work days. This was another bank check (local) not a personal one. I waited a few days before starting to write checks off of this money. 10 days later BofA sent me a letter stating that they had put a hold on this check. I started getting notices and calls from creditors who I had mailed personal checks to.

I had to call BofA and demand the hold be removed from this check (it had already been 2 weeks) due to my situation. My creditors said if I would fax them something from BofA stating it had been a banking error to return the checks then they would remove the ret chk charges (up to $29 from my bills). My BofA Branch manager said I had to call Customer Relations because 'she' could give me this letter.

When I called Customer Relations, a man named "Art" said he couldn't do it and that banks put a hold on checks and that was that. I told him I'd had this account near 20 years was was bank shopping now and that he was losing a customer. He didn't give a Rats a*s because I guess I'm not a "golden" customer to them. Believe me - this has made me so angry I'm ready to tell the world what "crap" bankers BofA really are and how they don't care if they keep or lose a long-time customer as myself !!!!
