My mother, Barbara Xxxxxxxxxxxx
I recently found out that this happened when I checked my credit report about a week ago. On my credit report it showed that I owed Midland Credit Management 493 dollars, for an account I had nothing to do with that was from Southwestern bell/At@T. My mother used her name in the form of Barbra matson ( matson is no longer her last name) her age was also on the report (42), that is how I know that it was my mother who fradulently used my social security number, pretending to be me, so she could get a phone in the state of California.
Since my mother and I have the same names, and she knows my social security number, it would not be immpossible for her to get a phone using my name and my information. Her current last name is Hagood ( if she is really married now)I do not owe Midland Credit Management anything because I had no knowledge of the account from SouthWestern bell/AT@T until I checked my credit report.

She is being untruthful about everything that she has so called "accomplished", which in reality is nothing.
My mother, Barbara Ann Rucker and I have never had a close relationship, my son's father has nothing to do with her and I not being close..The reason my mother and I were never close, was because in 1988, her ex-boyfreind, Thaddeus Earl Porter, molested me.. after it being proved in a Court Of Law, my mother still dated him and married him (unless she is lying about being married to him, like she has been untruthful about so many things) and Thaddeus Porter was paroled after 12yrs...but my mother stood by his side after he was proven to be a child molester.
Robert has NOTHING to do with my relationship with robert, she ruined that when she stood behind a child molester.
It is her OWN fault and NOBODY elses..and as far as her saying that she "pray that God open my eyes"..she does NOT even believe in God, she believes in false gods and demons...wicca is her religion, she is the one who take MEDICATION, which she needs a refund, clearly it is NOT working for her. She lies about everything, what she has, where she lives and what she owns..which at this point is NOTHING.
She needs to wake up to reality and stop living in "la la" land and grow up.

I'm not sure what the procedure is to correct what has already happened, but I can tell you how to prevent it from happening again:
Contact one of the 3 credit reporting agencies and have a Fraud Alert placed on your credit file. I'm pretty sure if you do one, the other two agancies will pick it up and apply it too.
A Fraud Alert works like this- If someone tries to open an account in your name, they have to call YOU at the number YOU PROVIDED in the Alert to verify authorization. If you cannot be contacted and verified at that number, they cannot issue credit.
The downside is if you do decide to apply for some kind of credit or financing, and you have your home number on the alert, you have to leave the store/dealership/whatever to go home and answer that call- somewhat inconvenient.
I'm thinkin that's a small price to pay. Also, I think you can use a cell number.
