As a Puerto Vallarta real estate specialist, Barbara La Pointe seemed like the perfect choice for me to purchase a property from. She was a Canadian citizen and also qualified as a matrimonial coach in Calgary, Canada, which gave me confidence in her abilities. However, my trust in her was misplaced as I became a victim of fraud. She made me deposit $150,000 into a trust for a property that she claimed she was going to renovate. But in the end, she sold the property to someone else and violated the law to acquire the $150,000 from the trust.
I have been struggling to resolve this matter with lawyers for the past three years, and it feels like an uphill battle. To my shock, I discovered that she was having an affair with Charles Baccichet, who is among the most sought-after criminals by the RCMP of Canada. When I confronted her about the stolen money, she threatened me to leave the matter alone, claiming that the money was lost.
It is alarming to think that Barbara La Pointe, who was once associated with trust and credibility, is involved with such unsavory characters. It is a lesson for anyone seeking professional services to do a thorough background check before engaging in any transactions. The ordeal that I have undergone has left me scarred and questioning the moral integrity of certain individuals.
