Barrios Automotive Designs & Repair one of the worst shops you can go to in Orlando FL for anything Body shop related! Dont ever take your car there, very shady operation. The staff working there seem to think people are rich for some reason, they treat there customers like crap. I was reffered to them by someone and had one of the worst experiences ever.

I was told that Jean Barrios was the best in what he did but I never seen him work on anything. I took a look at there facebook page and noticed that Jean was no where to be found. I was also told that there family friendly but when calling there number either sent to voicemail or was hung up on. I was strongly considering bring my car to this shop to get some paint work done on my 2011 Dodge Charger after seeing some of the work they had done in the past. I was convinced that this was the right place but after not being able to get in touch with them it seemed they didint want my business.

I spoke briefly with the person that reffered me to them and asked if this is how they were treated and they said not at all. I then went by there shop on Orange Blossom Trail and noticed that everyone there said they were the boss and never once did I meet a Jean Barrios. I was surprised after looking at there site and facebook page id at least get to meet the man that was behind the operation.

Second thing that was bothering me was the lack of tools in the workshop. Who has a shop with full signage out front of there door and not many tools to get the job done? I then asked a heavy set gentleman that was there about Jeans were abouts and was told that he was in charge and that Jean was not available at the time. I spoke with this person and was given a quote for Matte Black racing stripes for upwards of $2500.00. I was surprised as it was only 1 stripe down the hood over the top and down the trunk. I thought about it and said I guess Ill see you guys some other day.

By the end of seeing the operation I got into my car and drove home. On the way I thought about that experience and decided not to give up. I honestly thought there work spoke for itself but second guessing at this point as seeing there opertion wasnt up to par. No paint booth as advertised, hardly any tools and people hanging around everywhere. I then decided to try to contact via email and send pictures to no avail never recieved any kind of response.

Thinking about it there are to many shops out there doing false advertisement, almost had me hooked as the pictures that I had seen were some what believeable but after this I dont think so. I will advise anyone thinking about going to this shop to think twice. The way they advertise is just so mis-leading and there work shop was just a mess and not professional. Also a big thing to look out for is true verification of certification, I mean honestly anyone can put ASE certified on there sign or ICAR Certified. Get the truth and ask questions and get real proof like certificates and maybe even references. I was surprised because I was excited about getting my car done by someone that supposed be professional but by the looks of it just another fly by night body shop.

Im making this report because I think its important for consumers to beware of whats out there. If you want one to one service as advertised make sure its true. I like taking my car to shops that have the one to one because I feel comfortable dealing with someone I can trust first hand. Not getting a middle man giving me high estimates with no real explanation.Good luck to them and to anyone who wants to deal with these people! Very un-professional!!!
