My youngest son was about to turn 10 and his father and I wanted to get him a puppy for his birthday. My husband has had 2 basenji's in the past and wanted to purchase this type of dog. Found a breeder named above. Called Mr. Coy and Cat Tippy and discussed in length about the puppies and made sure to travel this far, this pups were legally registered. We were assured on several occasions that the pups were registered. My husband and son traveled 7 hours to get to Coy Tippy's breeding farm. Our puppy ran to our son and we knew this puppy chose us. Instantly fell in love. At the time of purchase, we were informed that they DID NOT have papers for these pups. We purchased the pup anyways as our 10 year old was there and already fell in love with the pup. We had to purchase the pup but everyone was understanding that the Tippy's would work on getting these registration papers to us ASAP. After several emails, and 1 1/2 years later, we still do not have any papers. Mr. Tippy's excuse is he stated that "WE" stated that we were breeders WHICH IS A FLAT OUT LIE. We cannot get our papers for our puppy. They advised if we wanted our money back, we would to turn over our pup, whom we love, and papers. WE DON'T HAVE PAPERS. We have been lied to and been put off for way too long. This Coy and Cat Tippy are a joke and I would NOT recommend ever doing business with these types of people. EVER
