In 1998, I joined the the military, and went to basic training in Ft Benning, GA. Some time during my six month basic training, my company Delta 2/19 was givin leave. So I decided to spend a whole big chunk of money at Bath and Body Works upwards of $400+.

I just assumed my, at the girlfriend recieved her shipment of BBWs' stuff.

Well she never did, I just getting home from the military and was going throught my reciepts. And I saw that the tab that says remove mailing label was still affixed to the bath and body work client order.

So I started thinking, if they didn't remove the part I filled out,to which it was to be sent to. Then bath and body works had no intention of mailing it in the first place. So I caled the 800 # and spoke to Angie Hopp, who to my again displeasure was not geared towards my concerns, needs or questions.

I was told by Angie Hopp and her Supervisor that they had no intention of tring to do some of thier own business sortings.

And if bath and body works is this stubborn about a simple development. Then this development should be brought to civil and/ or criminal charges.....

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Your Accusation Is Unwarrented

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

After working for Bath and Body Works for 6 years, I can tell you that they will do anything to keep their customers happy. I had a similar incident happen in one of the locations I worked at in Georgia (not the same store you are refferring to):

A woman purchased about $150 worth of product to be shipped out. The package was lost in transit, and not surprisingly the customer was quite upset. With approval from the District Manager, the clients reciept was looked up and the items were repackaged and shipped out to the recipient. There was no hassle, no argument, and no need for the 800 number customer service reps to get involved.

In addition, Bath and Body Works has three copies of a mail-out purchase: One goes to the customer with a copy of the mailing information; one goes in the package to be shipped; and one stays in store with the records of shipping.

I suggest that if anyone encounters the same problem, they deal with the store from which the purchase was made.

As far as criminal charges, even Judge Judy would laugh this one out of her court...you obviously did not approach this issue with a proper level of decorum or else B&BW would have helped you without any issue.
