Bath Fitter - Poor customer service, delivery of incorrect products. Portland Oregon

I really writing on behalf of my landlord who was kind enough to have Bath Fitters install a new bathtub for me. When the salesman came by for an estimate I had already printed out the page from the website to show him what tub I wanted. He took all the measurements and called my landlord back with an estimate they agreed on and scheduled the date for installation.

They did come on time to tear out the old tub. No problems there.

But, when they installed the new one, it was the wrong one. It was suppose to have the pretty emblem on the front of the tub and instead it was plain. Two weeks went by until they brought the shower doors. They too were the wrong ones. When they intalled them they used black "stoppers" on the sides and bottom instead of clear. Considering it was an all white tub/shower they stuck out like a sore thumb.

It took 2-3 weeks for my landlord leaving messages and never getting a returned phone call. The person who did answer the phone said the manager was out and would soon call.

Finally someone did call him back. He said that they did indeed install the wrong tub because his order was for the one we wanted. He said the shower doors were an upgrade from what we ordered and that he would have someone come over and replace the black "stoppers" with clear ones.

Well, they came today. They only replaced the bottome stopper and said he didn't have the side ones in clear and that he would try and find some.

Now, we have to take the time to make sure someone is at the house to let these people in.

I'm happy with the tub, but unhappy with the way my landlord has been treated. This tub cost $5400 and you would think they could get it right.
