We hired this company to refinish our tub and asked about the possibility of having our drain hardware replaced as well (which they told us was a possibilty).  When the technician attempted to remove the old drain, he turned it 90 degrees and broke it off the drain pipe - and failed to inform us!  Didn't discover it until almost 2 weeks later after my son took a bath and drained the tub and I could hear water rushing and saw that it was coming out of the broken drain, under our tub/slab of the house and not being drained at all.

It cost us $650 to  have the drain replaced and the "company" has refused to reimburse us for the repairs.

We have been contacting them since April and filed a BBB report which they completely ignored.  DO NOT give them your business...

It seems as though with a little nudge and few negative reviews, Bathtub Refinishing of Chicago agreed to remove my logo from their site. I did agree to try and undo what I could on the premise they remove my logo but unfortunately, I cannot remove this report. It is a sad state of affairs that it must come to this kind of point to receive action but I guess sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles. To all those reading this report, when hiring a contractor that claims association to any organization, use diligence and check references prior to hiring. I apologize to you Bathtub of Refinishing of Chicago if this report causes you loss of work but let it be a lesson in handling customer service in the future.
