G C Services out of Houston, TX called two of my very elderly neighbors yesterday and left a message with them for me to call them. They had not tried to call me at my house and how they got my neighbors phone numbers but not mine is beyond me. My number is in the same book that my neighbors numbers are in.
That kind of conduct violates my privacy and I am seeking legal help to put them in their place.

ok if done bill collecting before and by law (fdcpa_ Federal debit collections practice act) they are allowed to call and leave a message next door or with a family member ir u havent returned there phones or responed to letter at least one time. even if they have a good # to reach you. so even if u have no intentions of paying your bill call them back and talk to them at least once so they cant make those calls across the street.
