BB&T Bank ripoff Florence South Carolina

My husband and I were recently charged $150.00 in overdraft fees. When we called to find our how, we were told a service charge had been applied and then when our next check hit, it started a s****.> My husband called and spoke with a Ms. Addison, who said she would talk to Mr. James Frank (my husband thought he was the bank President) and would call him back. When she called back she stated Mr. Frank said he would not refund the overdraft charges. My husband told Ms. Addison he would send me up after I got off work and they could explain it to me.

When I arrived that afternoon, I waited about 30 minutes while Mr. Frank finished his phone call. I walked into his office and he ask what he could do for me. I told him he had spoken with my husband earlier that day. Before I could finish my sentence he abruptly said I'm not going to credit your account. Every time I tried to speak he would try to talk over me and cut me off. He even said, he didn't want to be rude. I then informed him that is exactly what he is. I went as far as to say maybe we were both a fault. Mr. Frank said, "absolutely not". He said he wasn't going to keep talking about this all day and threatened to close my account. This was the first time he had spoken with or even met me.

He finally stood up so I would leave, which I did. As I left I said I would contact someone else. I stopped by the secretaries desk and ask the name of the President. Mr. Frank got about 5 inches from my face and sternly said, "his name is Frank Bullock"!

I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally in my life. I was looking for BB&T's webpage when I found this site. It was good to know I'm not the only one fighting this battle.

After reading other postings, I've found many of the same things said to us i.e., your balance doesn't match what's in the computer, it happens all the time, etc. Well it's time it stopped happening!!
