Back in January of 2010, I placed an order for used books thru, Amazon.com.

Discount Book Sales filled the order and shiped it to me no problem, but they have charged me 19.95, each month since. I relize it is my fault they have continued to get away with this as I did not truley notice untill Nov. when they started calling it a recurring charge. I buy many books every month from many different vendors but these crumbs are the first to pull this bull. They will not get any more of my money and I plan to report thisFruad to Amazon, the BBB in Boca Raton, my bank, andwho ever is in charge of consumer fruad in FL. and my state. These people have a nice little racket going and they need to be stopped.

DISCOUNTBOOKSALE SCAM Recurring Charges

AUTHOR: Raindoggy - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 09, 2012

Back in December of 2010, I placed an order for a used books thru, Amazon.com.

Discount Book Sales filled the order and shipped it to me. Then after they had all my information, charge card number etc., they asked me if I wanted to save $5 on a future order and said I would by filling out their questionnaire.  Little did I know they signed me up for a $9.95 member ship fee, which is a monthy recurring charge on my credit card!.

I buy a lot of books and we travel so we have our bills automatically paid, ok my fault I did not check my bill close enough so I was getting dinged $9.95 a month for something I had not signed up for. T they have stolen close to $300 from me now.   They have a real scam going here people and this is how they rip you off! Lesson is CHECK YOUR BILLS CLOSELY !!

It is common for me to see charges for books so it did not stand out. I buy many books every month from many different vendors but (like the person before me said) "these crumbs are the first to pull this bull."  "I plan to report this Fraud to Amazon, the BBB in Boca Raton, my bank, and whoever is in charge of consumer fraud in FL. and in my state.

"These people have a nice little racket going and they need to be stopped."
