I'm not sure what or why your experience with Bear Witness was not a good one, as I've been very pleased with their service. I found them to respond quickly to my messages, produce the results I was looking for and all in all be a great group of guys. I guess no one is 100%, but after getting to know them, I would have to guess that there is more to the story than what you have written here........ there usually is.

This report is completely FALSE and is a nothing more than a MALICIOUS HOAX. This "supposed customer" does not exist, never existed, and therefore never hired us....period.

Now, we could sit here and go on and on trying to convince you, tell you we have an impeccable record, plead our case, & clear our good name. I suppose even by acknowledging this false report, we are attempting to do just that. We could also tell you that some competing local Private Investigators will stop at nothing in an effort to diminish their competition...even if it includes anonymous slander & libel like this false report.

The clients that we serve include law firms, corporations, and private individuals. They typically come to us in search of the truth. And we experts at revealing it. In the case of this false report, we already know it to be nothing more than a FAKE. But, maybe you are not convinced.

With that being said, we took a moment to quickly review this site (Ripoff Report). It did not take us long to uncover other very similar & obvious false reports made against a couple other Private Investigators in our coverage area. See for yourself. Type in AV Investigations & 4Front Investigations into this site's search bar. Do you notice that the FALSE REPORTS given in both of these cases are identical? You should, because they are. Of coarse, the one they posting for us in slightly altered...but nonetheless along the same lines and is STILL completely FALSE.

We have been in this industry for over 12 years. We are familiar with many other local Private Investigators & their companies. We also feel confident that the other 2 companies mentioned above would never act in such a manner towards a customer or client, and therefore also take this opportunity to defend their good name.

We already mentioned why someone would post such a FALSE statement. The only question that remains is who is doing it. That one is not too hard to figure out. We suggest to you that the Private Investigator or company that referred you to this RipOff Report is the most likely culprit. Thank you for your time and attention. First, you need to distinguish between the agency and the proprietor and make copies of all of your dealings with the agency and be sure to include the employees and send it to the agency in your state who licenses private investigators and private security officers.

In fact, if I were, I would have checked before I EVER gave them a dime and I would have seen that they really were licensed by the State.

I can't imagine a REAL private investigator who was licensed by the State agreeing to do a job and not giving you a report and photographs.

They sounds like players, clowns, fumble bums and wannabes to me!
" The Complete Idiot's Guide to Private Investigaton" is cheaper and you could have done it yourself.

Sounds like you need to contact the BBB and in addition report Bear Witness Private Investigators/Detective Agency to the California Department of Consumer Affairs where they are supposed to hold their private investigators license.

Either way it sounds like a fly by night company
