Beaute Wrinkle Reducer placed ad on smart phone. Get sample free & only pay postage. Wife ordered and received .5oz tube of lotion.

10 days after receiving lotion we got a charge of $99.95 and when I called the company # , I was told I could not return .5Oz tube and I was obligated to pay the full charge. I called the credit company and filed a dispute. 14 days later I was recharged the credited amount.

I than called the Beaute company again and they said I should have looked on line to see there was a 14 day trial period. I could not find their web page and feel this is deceptive . I called the Atty General for Florida and they said this is called a Negative Option Transaction and I filed a complaint. I then filed a complaint with Federal Trade Comm. Being on a fixed income and mostly Social Security, this has put a bind on our finances.

There should be some way of combating this but I'm hoping people will become more informed about this deceptive practice. I was so upset when I talked with the representative at Beaute that I told him he should feel ashamed of himself and then I mashed the off button on my phone really reallly hard.
