I purchased a shower stall curtain from the Bedbathstore and received my order fine. I then received another package from them with my name and address on the outside of the box but inside were drapery panels and a packing list for a person in Los Angeles, Calif.  I live in Florida. 

I contacted via email customer service at Bedbath store and asked them what they wanted me to do with this package.  They asked that I set it back out for UPS to pickup .  I did that and after 3 days and many e-mails later the package was still there. 

Meanwhile I contacted via email address found on the packing list the person whom the package was intended for and she was NOT ever told of this problem.  She contacted customer service and they hung up on her!!

I now find out that they have been trying to retreive the package from Calif instead of me in Florida.  The last e mail they want ME take the box to UPS.  Are you kidding me???!!!  I didn't get a Thanks or anything just do this do that!!

I received a package today that had my name on the outside of the box and my address but inside the order was supposed to go to a L. M. in Los Angeles Calif. 

I live in Sarasota, Florida and had received my order last Friday which was Ref XXXXXX  order no XXXXXX  So what do you want me to do with these now?

Our shipping dept made an error and shipped another persons order to this customer. The person who did not receive her order has been refunded. We have apologized for her inconvenience and offered a 20% coupon on

her next order.

1. UPS DID NOT lose the package, they delivered it as it was addressed.

2. They at Bedbathstore customer service DID NOT apologize, then they screwed up again and tried to pick up the package from Calif instead of Florida where THEY had sent it.

3. They were nasty to the customer who paid for the package and never received it!

4. This is a complaint forum not a forum for you to jump in and make comments because you are bored especially when not commenting on the facts.

5. Bottom line My customer service experience was HORRIBLE!

They shipped you the package- it's yours to keep.

You're wasting your time trying to be the "nice guy", and you know what happens to "nice guys".

Doesn't it suck trying to correct others mistakes?  UPS will just lose it again anyway.

I did not know it was an error until I opend the package!  Regardless the customer service or lack there of is the issue!

Not a rip off. Why did you post your complaint here?

Tell the shipper to arrange for pick up. You should not have accepted or opened the package. You knew it was a shipping error before you opened it.
