I sent aircraft seat belts to them to be rewebbed in early February. I called on the status and the girl that answered them phone said they would get back to me, they never did. I keep calling a nd leaving voice messages on their phone but no one called me back. I called their AOG hotline - 310-991-4358 - and talked to owner Tim Dunlop who said he would find out and get back to me that afternoon. That was over 3 weeks ago, no reply from him. When I call that number, it says the mail box is full. I keep leaving messages on the office phone but no one returns my calls. I want the items I sent to them back. The belt have a value of $1200.00. They are a rip-off!!! I have the Fed Ex signed receipt that my belts were delivered to them.

Today is May 18, 2016. I have finally gotten my belts back. After many calls and left messages with no return calls. Last week they actually had someone answering the phone and I told her I wanted my belts back. She said she would get back to me but never did. I called again on the 16th and said if I didn't get them back, my next call would be to file a stolen property report with the local police. She called me on the 17th and said they were being sent out, I had given them my Fed Ex number long ago and it was on my packing slip that I sent to them so it would have been no cost to them to send them back. I wanted them sent ground, but of course, being the type of company they are, they sent them back priority one overnight costing me a bunch of extra money. I do feel sorry for the girl answering the phone but I had had it with them. Even if they ever get their FAA certification back, I will never do business with them and I will tell others of my problems. Tim Dunlop could have saved himself and his company by taking the high road but he choose to take the low road. Funny if he ever gets any more customers the way he has treated what used to be long time customers of his service. this should have never taken since February to resolve this issue. Just be aware and stay clear. Tim Dunlop doesn't care enough about his customers to even call them. If you might be upset about this Tim, too bad, I have all the documention to prove this is true.

Belt Makers is the ripoff

For some reason the report looks like Salem Air is the probel. This is not the case. I filled the report on behalf of Salem Air Center against Belt Makers, Inc. I have not idea why it displays the way it does. Belt Makers are the problem. I work for Salem Air Center.
