Berkeley Neurtoceuticals Intentionally misleading statements, unfair business practices by Berkeley-MUST READ!!! Cincinnati Ohio

I decided to order a trial of the Suvaril I had seen advertised on TV so many times. I called and ordered it on 8/8/04. The customer care rep told me that the shipping would be $10.90, but I was also entitled to try 2 other products of theirs for free.

I didn't really think much of this until I never received my products. The rep assured me that I would receive the goods in 5-7 business days, but I never received anything! On Monday, 8/30/04, I called the company because I noticed that my credit card had been charged even thought I never got anything. They assured me that I would be receiving the products in a few days.

At that point I asked for a supervisor, and explained that I was told a few things that were not true i.e. that it cost $10.90 to ship. The CST must have been on some sort of commission so he simply TOLD me that lie. The supervisor said that was incorrect and the correct amount should have been $4.90. Anyway, I then told the supervisor that I was disgusted with all the lies I had been told and had no desire to have any further dealings with their company.

I wanted a refund since I never received anything. He got very nasty and told me that the products were on their way. I explained that I did not believe him because I had been told the same thing on the 8th of August and still had nothing-except a charge on my credit card. I finally convinced the supervisor to refund my fee of $10.90, but even though he did comply after much haggling, he was still rude, obnoxious, and very insulting.

I will NOT do any further business with this company and will encourage EVERYONE who will listen NOT to buy anything, not even a trial of a product from them. I should have known what a scam they were running the way they set up "automatic refills" of their worthless junk. If they can rip off every poor sucker who calls them for one month at their regular rate...you do the math. It's highway robbery and I urge EVERYONE to stay away.

Go to your REAL doctor and get the right stuff, and if you want all natural, look up what you need on the internet and visit your local vitamin/health store. It's much better and a LOT less expensive. Good luck to all!!!
