Best Buy misrepresented protection plan Bluffton South Carolina

I purchased a Magnolia Home Theater system from Best Buy in Dec 2011 and also purchased their Geek Squad Black Tie Protection Plan for 4 years. The plan runs to 1/27/16. In 2014 the sub-woofer blew up. I took it to the store and was told it was not covered. In Nov 2015 the Pioneer audio/video receiver began to act up, with either no volume, very loud volume, and different levels on different channels. I called Geek Squad, who contacted the store. They were told it was not covered. 

The issue is that I was told when I purchased the whole system for $5,500 that I should get a protection plan for the system. It appears that I was only charged for coverage for the television, not the entire system. However the booklet for the protection plan states that all components are included. So the plan I was charged for was not the one I was told I was buying, and the "fine print" in the protection booklet is deceptive.

Yes you get what you pay for, but it may not be what you want.
