I am a freelance Chinese Interpreter. I used to do Interpreting works for an interpreting agency which is called Best Translation Agency. The phone number they used is (310) 739-3475. They told me a different company name at that time. But from the information they sent me and the payment check I have received I found out their company name actually is called Best Translation Agency. Their phone number is (818)269-3697. The name on the company owner registration is Adel Mozeh. Address is 14038 Oxnard Street, Van Nuys, CA 91401.
They didn't pay me for the work I have done for them in Novemember 2016. I have sent them email and text messages; but no reply. Then in July 2017 they started to use a new phone number (818)424-275 call me to ask me to work. The woman told me her name is Lena Baboyan. I asked if their company name is Best Translation Agency and she said no. She told me her company name is Pros Interpreting and address is 6695 Halbrent, Van Nuys, CA 91405. I didn't realize she lied to me and agreed to work for them for 8 days. They send me a check for partial payment of all the invoices I have sent them. Just like last November, they didn't pay me for all the work I have done for them. This time they didn't pay me 3 invoices. I found out they are the same Interpreting agency. When I called the phone number (818)269-3697 the call forward to the phone number (818)424-3275. Tehy iddn't pay their interpreters and use a new company name.
I am self-employed and it is very hard for me to spend time and money to do a good job and don't get pay. What I really upset is they use a new company name and cheat on me again. This is the only interpreting agency that don't pay me for my work.
Beware when the above phone numbers called you to ask you to do interpreting work for them because more likely they would not pay you. They get their money from the clients but they would not pay you! What a scamp!

I did not know that it had a different name before. I am very sorry if you have not gotten paid,
I was an employee and quit because I had the same issues as you.
