Best USA Vacations ripoff yell yelling impolite waste time tease misconnect Internet

***The phone number and state listed are what appeared on my caller ID so it is from that location where I heard the jerk yelling at the supposed winner. With that said, the vacations spot, while looking and sounding scammy, MIGHT just be victim to one little call center.

So I got this call from 'Best USA Vacations' or something like that. You know, those places that say "You've won a free trip to yadda yadda yadda...". Well, turns out this woman named Kathleen also got called and somehow we both got the same operator. But here's the thing - I could hear everything the operator said but neither of them could hear me! Now I know these things are junk but it sounded pretty sweet so I listened just for the heck of it. The thought also popped into mind that when Kathleen gives here home information, I could phone her up and b***h that she got MY prize though that wouldn't be too polite. Also if she got a confirmation code, I could phone back and get someone pissed at those stupid scammers!

So anyways the nice lady operator transferrs her to this guy who will get her info right? And you know what's coming up... the CATCH! You see, while the resort is great and all, it's not actually FREE as the automated message suggests. It's a trip for 4 and while the resort package is a whooping 75% off, it's still about $500 AND you have to pay for your flight down there - $600-700 for a total of around $1,200 for your somewhat free 16-day holiday package. Now there's mention about having up to a year to Claim the prize BUT you MUST PAY TODAY, RIGHT NOW, IMMEDIATELY - and those were practically his exact words too! I mean he was chewing her out man! "YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GETTING ALL THIS COMPLETELY FREE???"

Gawd, why would you want to deal with an organisation that employs these bastards, yelling and little old ladies or whatever. I mean, it seemed like she was at least in her 50's to even listen to this unbelievable offer! (no offense mom) She went to the website and everything.
