In short, this Best Western gives the franchise a terrible image. From arrival the front desk clerk Kristina was nasty. after a 7 hour drive, we were excited to have arrived.  Her attitude was short, snippy and snotty. Not a smile, welcome, nothing remotely friendly or cheerful. Our first room the AC was broken and after someone came and looked at it, and was convinced it really wasn't working, our room was moved. Then we got locked out of the building entrance after they forgot to set our room key for the next night.  My husband and I smelled a very strong mold smell but felt bad complaining again.  however, we woke up sick for 2 days, bought sinus and allergy meds, and finally found mold growing everywhere in the AC unit.

The GM came up  acted surprised at the find, even though the entire room was filled with this unhealthy smell. We checked out immediately Since we felt sick and out allergies were really bad.  The clerk at the desk (the same nasty one from check in) told us that we were "lucky" that they were compensating anything at all, since they weren't positive it was really mold and then basically picked up the phone ignored us and kept saying ok bye now while completely ignoring us. I don't recommend this place. We paid to get sick.... And our vacation was less enjoyable because of it.  My complaint is more teams the way we were treated than the room issue itself.... We didn't receive exemplary customer service at all.
