beutyclub improvrhealth Charged my credit card for high fees and would not refund Des Moines, Iowa

I am sad to report that a company in Des Moines, IA is charging to my credit card repeatedly for products I have not recieved. When I called for a refund for the initial S&H fee of $2.98 and the $88.50 for the teeth whitening product I was met with polite and very well trained customer service reps.

About 2 weeks ago, I requested my "membership" to the beuty club be cancelled. At that time I asked if I was going to have any additional charges on my VISA. I was told no. Then yesterday, I received my VISA with the $88.50 charge. I called the company and had 3 customer service reps hang up on me, including a "supervisor". They use a variety of phone numbers and it sounds like a very large call center type environment.

This is scam although my credit card company told me they deal with these types of companies everyday. Unfortunately, they fly right below the radar legally and certainly way below the mark ethically.
