Bid Place sb AOL Bid place refuses to cancel account and AoL video hidden charge BEWARE of this advertising company Internet

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors... is a small company that builds computers we are new to the internet.So we decided to put some adds out to get people to our site we use myspace,google,facebook and tryed bidplace.

I am the  sole proprietor I went to Bid place their a part of AoL so I figured they could be trusted but they proved me wrong from the start

Bidplace Put two holds on my account one from them then another called AoL video this extra hold from AoL video was not authorized and was not said anywhere that they would be charging me

I only knew about the one 5.00 activation fee from bidplace to setup my account .Google also charges the same thing so i figured it was normal

I have been trying to reach them for 3 days now with only one response which i will show in a second when i emailed them i told them about the extra charge and that I wanted to cancel tha account since they cant be upfront with how they charge people 

I also stated that I didn't want any ads ran as they had not run yet since they were still being looked at to make sure that the adds met there guideline i got a email yesturday from bidplace.

I'm sure that the duplicate charge is an error in the system. Has the second charge been refunded to your card yet? If not, please let me know. There are some times when a duplicate charge is processed, but removed shortly after.  It should be removed from your statement. Again, please let me know what the credit card is reporting and I'll be happy to assist you further.

my lastname was removed by me I can understand the holiday thing but I have two problems with this email . One theres no mention about canceling the account as requested per my email in the title and this wasnt a duplicate charge it was two seprate charges.     Second why is Tech support contacting me about billing issues ? shouldnt the billing department be contacting me about this. wether the email was sent to tech support or not which is wasnt.

I do not wish to do business with bidplace if this is how they do business I want my account canceled I do know that the 5.00 is non-refundable but these other 2 holds need to be removed from my account and the bidplace account needs to be canceled I do not  want any ads ran through bidplace at this time or in the future . I want this account canceled and a confirmation email that it has been done I have sent a email to ever branch of bidplace with this and your the only one to respond about duplicate charges but not about this account being canceled this is the account number  37693 I do not expect to wait 2 days for this to be done

Then I get on today to see if the account has been canceled and to my suprise ...


and yes I sent the same email asking for this account to be canceled to ever emails adress they have as I will  do again today . my other adevertisers respond very quickly and have not had any issues with any of them I suggest you use one of them but not AOL/Bidplace 

My complaint is the charge from AoL video nowhere and I mean nowhere does it say anything about them charging 5.00 for this and even if it was .01 its BS then  not answering emails or doing what you ask them to do where has the customer service gone these days. The only way to cancel your account is through emails 

If you have any info to helping me let me know  .STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS

Update for bid place


You have to start at the bottom  that was the email I sent out then they responded 2 times 

The hold is still on my account fyi.I think its funny that there sister company is charging me 
why is there sister company (AOL VIDEO) charging me for in the first place how did they get my info ?
I know its a scam 5 .00 x 10 people = 50.00 , 5.00x100 people= 500.00 and 5x1000 people = 5000.00 I could keep going 
with this but im sure you get the Idea. To many companys do this to much and not enough people 
step up to take action roughly 4% of people complain when they have been wronged 

These companys know this and its why they keep doing what there doing 
I own my own business and my goal is 100% customer satisfaction 

remember consumers your always right you are what makes this tiny planet go round
wether your spending millions or hundreds of dollars dont let companys like
