As a human resource professional and college administrator for 32 plus years, in interviewing candidates for a job, even as important as a college president, the committee had very distinct steps for the candidate to follow.  I think that this college needs more in depth and clearer steps for the interview process.  Bill Buck should never have been in charge or screen candidates for this position.  Why tell a candidate that it the next steps is do give all the information collected to the college's hiring manager and then to the college decides it will go with a third party screener?    This makes no sense.  The school should have had a scheduled interview plan before advertising for a job.  This college is a christian based university that does not practice what the preaches in its mission statement. 

 I am very disappointed to hear that you were treated rudely by Mr. Buck.  Thank you for bringing this to our attention. 

We have engaged the services of Ms. Wright-Moore, from HEAG, in order to provide additional screening expertise pertaining to your Title IV experience.  HEAG is not the hiring manager.  All hiring decisions will be made by Concordia University.  This is a step in our screening process and we believe that Ms. Wright-Moore is very qualified to perform this work for us.
