I am writing because a friend of mine has been taken by this guy for what sounds like 2 years already and the worst part is, he still believes in him which blows my mind! Not only does he have personal funds with him, but he has hundreds of thousands of other investor funds with him which is really sad. The stories are similar to the ones mentioned here. This Bill Ison was an ex-CEO of many Fortune 500 Companies - though I can't find a single one of course in any research but that is the story he tells my buddy - and he is some wonderful humanitarian with awesome humanitarian efforts with access to billions if not trillions through his "connections" to crazy wealthy groups to help various efforts of disease, famine, stop gorilla warfare, etc. More stories include access to crazy trading platforms returns hundreds of percent a month etc. He has connections to the highest people in governments as well as even HIGHER who REALLY control the goings on in the world etc... I know this sounds outrageous but this is part of his big stories. He "lets" my friend in on these secrets of who he REALLY is and what is connections REALLY are in the world as a result of my friends "loyalty" and because he wants my friend to join him in his causes "when the time comes" etc. In the mean time, he has convinced my friend to raise money for him over the last 2 years which I believe was due for returns many, many, many months ago and of course given the sheer amount of money is involved, various conspiracies are happening delaying the release of the funds but with their connections at the highest levels, BUT it is imminent the funds are going to be released and available "anytime". I could go on and on. I only first started hearing about all this about 3-4 months ago from my friend when I realized it was BS but my friend is so convinced it is real that I don't even know what to do. The good thing is that I don't think he has brought in anymore money lately but I can only HOPE that is the case because that is what he claims. When he had me go to the website http://bluediamondex.com and he claimed that this was another massive outfit Bill was involved in and they had some special technology to basically get more precious metals out of things that never could be extracted before, etc. Another story of outrageous claims of some technology worth trillions and trillions of dollars. Meanwhile the site hasn't been updated since 2008 and one of the phone numbers on there rings to some TV satellite installation Co in AZ. None of the people listed on there can be found in any legit capacity to this scam company with only a website to prove of its existence. It is all a sham used to raise money.

Guys... This is not my fight BUT if someone can put their contact information on here somehow, I will be HAPPY to email you my friends number and you can compare notes and conspire to take these guys down. I am sure they have scammed millions which should garner some attention from authorities and yes, I know they threaten that they know people in high places etc. More than likely they are just low life cowards. Someone has to figure a way to communicate with one another.... Someone start a thread on scam.com or something as well. These guys are obviously very good at what they do so it won't be easy but someone has to take up the cause for all the people ripped off by this a--holes.

Good luck to you all...  I hope more people contribute to this and spread the word of these bastards. These are probably not even their real names.

Co conspirator pleads guilty

AUTHOR: Mr. Curious - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 23, 2013
SoCal Businessman Faces Five Years

Douglas Ellingson faces up to five years in federal prison for wire fraud conspiracy at his Oct. 28 sentencing, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a statement.
He admitted that he conspired with co-defendant William Ison and James Pantazelos to defraud investors in Ison's business, Olathe Mining Co., the U.S. attorney said.
Pantazelos was sentenced in February to 19 1/2 years in federal prison and ordered to pay restitution of $3.3 million.
Prosecutors did not elucidate the state of the proceedings against Ison.
According to the U.S. attorney's statement: "In order to promote Ison's appearance of wealth to potential investors, Ellingson and Ison falsely claimed Ison was the head of a large non-profit foundation that gave over a 'trillion dollars' to various humanitarian causes. They encouraged investors to hand over funds by promising that the profits would be used to support charitable causes.
"Ultimately, the victims did not receive promised profits or a return of their original investments. In total, Ellingson personally obtained over $2 million from victims, almost all of which he wired directly to Ison."

Ken Cafferty

AUTHOR: Concerned - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, October 30, 2010

I came across your report when searching for Blue Diamond Excavation.  I have no dealings with them, but you mentioned that none of these guys have anything in the news.  Today I recieved an e-mail regarding Ken Cafferty, who happens to be a board member of Blue Diamond Excavation and is lives in Carmel, Indiana.  Nothing to really report other than he obviously has accumulated an enormous amount of wealth in order to donate $45 MILLION to University of Maryland.  I am from Indiana and I almost know everyone here in the state who has anything to do with the mining industry and I have NEVER, NEVER heard of this guy.  One article calls him a "low key businessman".  You can search his name or here is the link below.

If it smells like a scam...

AUTHOR: Anon - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, September 16, 2010

Look folks. While I can appreciate the intellectual capacity of the recent post here defending this scam, I would suggest you take it with a grain of salt and focus on the facts that you can try desperately to obtain.

First, try to find the existence of any of the principals listed on the website in the particular areas where they supposedly reside. Even if you find similar names in those areas, do your research and see if those people really do have anything to do with Blue Diamond Excavation. Chances are very strong, they do not. What's more is any Google or research on Blue Diamond Excavation, other than their website, it is entirely another company that has anything going on.

This company has had NO PRESS or done anything whatsoever except put up a website, which until recently had gone 2 years with no updates whatsoever and it is true, one of the "offices" in AZ was a satellite TV provider. That is true. Yet, folks like Mr Ison and his crew, that don't appear to exist except for the mention on the website, are worth millions and the company has state of the art technology to make mining and precious metal extraction 1000% more efficient, profitable, and enviromental friendly. Yet no one has heard of them and they don't seem to be accomplishing anything but extracting money from "investors" right?

Next, any mention of the word HYIP should make most who care about their fellow man as well as their wallet cringe because 99% of HYIPs are ponzi schemes posing as legit companies capable of creating returns to make a middle class citizens  as rich as Bill Gates in a few short years. This is nothing different.

One of the tell tale signs of a scam is when the scheduled "returns" of the investment get "delayed" it is usually because of a government conspiracy like this one is touting. Most of this stuff is old hat for those that have been involved with scams such as this before but to those that are doing their due diligence, this would be good to digest.

Finally, notice what reaction you get if you ask too many questions. Too many questions are met with a sense of disdane because how could you be questioning the validity of this wonderful opportunity before you with these wonderful human beings doing good in the world and rather than question it you should be thanking them you were even invited to participate! Sound familiar?

Is this William V Ison a nice guy?? Of course he is. They all are. That is part of what makes a scam successful. CHARISMA and excellent story telling. Those skills will take you a long way. Just look at organized religion.

Anyway, in our court system we are supposedly "innocent until proven guilty" but when it comes to giving up your hard earned money in something that pulls at your greed and your sense of humanity - these guys claim to be doing amazing things to help others - then watch yourself. It is all part of the con.

This is just food for thought and my attempt to educate would be victims. Hold onto your wallet or AT LEAST do your due diligence. Don't take anyone's word for ANYTHING.

Bill V Ison, William V Ison, Olathe Mining Co, Blue Diamond Excavation; Trustworthy

AUTHOR: JustMyOpinion - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, September 09, 2010

Concerned Citizen is offering what I believe the courts call hear-say, meaning it is not first hand, eye witness testimony, and is therefore unreliable. There may be reasons other that what he believes to know or perhaps misjudged that keeps "his friend" engaged with his business matters with Bill Ison. I offer first hand experience because I too, like his friend, have invested with Mr. Ison. And like Concern Citizen's friend I continue to stand by him.

I am aware of quite a few other investors, whom I have personally met, who are also standing by Bill Ison and believe he will deliver on his contracts. I am also aware of the legal actions brewing by a few of the investors, not personally known to me; I can only assume they have their reasons and I cannot speak for them. To date no fraud or violations have been substantiated.

Accredited and Sophisticated Investors in this type of investing arena are typically familiar with the world of high yield investing and know that many things have changed in the high yield world of international finance since the change in presidency to our current administration. Mr. Ison's investments do bridge this transitory period. I know these things apart from my investment with Mr. Ison and many of the updates shared by Mr. Ison with us, his investors, are consistent with what I have seen in other investment platforms which we have explored or monitored. Unfortunately, where there is high yield there is also a proportionate number of scams and I, for one, believe we should not dismiss all high yield investing because of it; but rather seek to work with true and honest individuals such as Mr. Ison.

I have personally met Mr. Ison, which Concerned Citizen has not, and I found him to be genuine, compassionate, and quite knowledgeable. In the early days Mr. Ison offered 3rd party verification options which were abused by potential investors forcing him to limit such information. I am quite comfortable with the verifications I reviewed. Mr. Ison has never claimed in my presence, or in the several speaking engagements of which I have been a part, to be an Ex-CEO of any fortune 500 companies as Concerned Citizen appears to falsely promulgate. I reviewed some of the charities he supports and they are legitimate charities.

Concerned Citizen states "this is all BS" yet offers no evidence for his refute other than belief in his own opinion. The fact Concerned Citizen has resorted to profane and derogatory name-calling in his closing remarks is not only a disappointment, it serves to further discredit his unsubstantiated hear-say. This site is a forum for respectful reporting of true abuse, for which Concerned Citizen admittedly is neither a party to nor a recipient of.

I stand by Mr. Ison and the investment I have with him. I am saddened by the unforeseeable detours and delays and am confident in the steps he is taking to mitigate these challenges and make good on the investment.

I have never met, nor heard of Mr. Gene Orico. The information contained in other posts here on this site regarding the claims made by Mr. Orico is inconsistent with the information provided to me by Mr. Ison. It is my hope that if these claims are true that Mr. Ison has distanced himself from Mr. Orico.

Concerned Citizen response

AUTHOR: Travis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 11, 2010

This is Concerned Citizen replying to the wife of my friend. The comments you made about Bill's friend being the "King of the Holy Roman Empire" I have heard at length as well. You live in Milw, WI...

I have been thinking about confronting him myself but I am a little nervous as to whether he would be offended at my confrontation. My guess is that you have in fact confronted him as well and it hasn't worked out and perhaps it has caused a lot of turmoil with you in your marriage. Would this be correct?

Is he aware of these reports on ripoffreport? Is he willing to listen to logic and reason do you think or is he too brainwashed? I just want to handle it gently and don't want to offend him for his own good and the good of his family... What do you think? Clue me in and I will try to help.

POSTED: Sunday, March 28, 2010

"The good thing is I don't think he has brought any more money into this." You can say that again. The King of the Holy Roman Empire is his best friend btw. I am "your friend's wife" for how you describe him is the man who lives with me, completely snowed by this con artist. Feel free to ask "your friend" if you can speak to his wife and I'll prove it. Everything you say is the bs I hear. I'm not scared of these idiots. They will crash and burn.
