Blue Asset Management Charles Blumenkehe, Blue Asset Management kept my sequrity deposit after I moved out in October 2015. No one would answer my phone calls because they were cowards that steal from disabled people Wayne New Jersey

I moved out of a rental duplex property in October 2015. I borrowed money from a friend to put a sequrity deposit on the new place I was moving to thinking I could pay her right back. James, the property manager kept telling me the check was in the mail. Then stopped answering my calls alltogether. 

Im disabled, on section 8 , and very low income. I still owe my friend all the money I thought I was going to get back. I lived there 8 years, endured 3 floods with no help at all from the landlord. I bought a new hot water heater after the last flood, left MY stove, a custom made cabinet with a hood over the stove, had every hole in the walls from pictures or shelves spakled, and the apartment was broom swept like the law requires.

My sequrity deposit was $1762.50 and put in an interest bearing account . I spoke to James several times and asked him in lue of me leaving the stove, cabinet/hood,hotwater heater, and also brand new locks on both doors (so I could keep the locks that was on the doors because I had special keys made for them) could he give me 2 weeks to move out since the new place wasnt ready until October 8th and its hard for me to pack/move since im disabled. Also as required by section 8, I DID give the required letter to the landlord.

In the 8 years there they never repainted the place, I replaced the bathroom floor at my own expense also, didnt help with the flood, FEMA and volunteers helped me with that, and I met the actual owner one time for about 2 minutes if that.

After they stopped taking my phone calls I recieved a registered letter claiming I did damage to the siding that cost them $625.00 to repair, there was other tenants, I barely even went outside there so how can I be blamed for little holes in the siding? And October 2015 rent of $1234. claiming I didnt give 30 days notice which I did, by phone AND letter. James knew my move out date and ok`d it. Section 8 isnt going to pay rent for 2 houses. Thats why I asked for the 2 weeks if I left the stove and other stuff that I paid for.

Why would James keep telling me the check was on its way to me then I get this letter?
