I am a previousely customer and I am going to tell you why not to use Blue Leaf Auctions, Blue Leaf Estate Sales in Tempe Arizona.

First I was expecting a person to come to my home to do an estate sale.  Instead I was conned into having an in home auction by Rowlan Hill.  He told me he was the owner but I discovered by using google the below person is the owner.

STEPHANIE GARCIA
MANAGER
3925 S SHAFER DR
TEMPE,AZ  85282

I was able to stay in the home during the auction.  Very few people came and almost nothing sold.  I was very angry at the entire process.  Nothing was set up but left in boxes all over.  I was lied to about what things would sell for and am very disappointed.

I later find out they use auction.zip to sell things.  Then I also find out they they own a storeage unit in Tempe where they keep everything that does not sell and keep all the money doing there own auctions.  Theives!  The address to their storeage unit is

Blue Leaf
3803 S Priest Drive
All of Arizona
Tempe, AZ 85282

Phone: 602-758-0865

Don't trust them, don't use them, they took advantage of me so Im writing to warn you all.

The auction was bad, they are unprofessional, try to do more sales then they can handle, have no idea what they are doing.  They LIE and are new so dont beleive them.

100% and worse, broke the law

AUTHOR: PATRICK - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, December 21, 2017

I had the same experience. 100% the same. There are also multiple BBB reports I saw when I went through the same thing. Roland DOES NOT own the Company as he said. The same people go to each auction. I was promised research, listing of pictures and information. They just took junky pictures. Some images you couldn’t tell what the item was. Ironically the high priced items were NOT highlighted. I had two collections and I said contact local shop owners because I had tons of parts for one collection 1 (one) person showed for them and bought all the spare parts they don’t make anymore for pennies in the dollar. I don’t think they contacted ANYONE IN THAT INDUSTRY. I called a few after that were only a few miles away. They said they never heard of Blue Leaf, the Auction and would have LOVED to have been there. They also pointed out some of the items sold were sold at 1/2 price of wholesale and they would have paid wholesale easily As far as my other collection "Guns” beware!

Roland talked me up for weeks he said he had "9,000” his s inter stead in the Guns. "It was all the talk, people from 4 states all excited about your guns” is what he said. 30 people showed. Once the employee in the Blueleaf shirt bid, I heard one guy say "that’s not fair” and he left. Mark Rose grey hair and mustache said still shocked he actually said "I’m hear to raise the price for you”. He was there to but Guns for someone else. There were about 15 people there. Two people bought most of the Guns. Again about 1/2 price if wholesale. Local gun shops would have paid more. I spoke to a few. The buyers all knew each other. One of their employees (but i was told "he just helps” #1 didn’t know Guns and number 2 bid. He actually (their gun expert) started bidding over guests. I did NOT like this. He bought multiple guns. The most alarming part was that the Guns sold that HE pushed chased were sold to someone else? Same phone but another person. Different name. That’s illegal. You can’t buy a non-antique weapon in someone else’s name. I have a feeling they lowballed due to few people and then sold the weapons for triple the price online or at their own auction. Just a feeling. I am glad I had held back weapons. Roland would not stop. Sell more guns, sell your car, sell your truck, sell this sell that. He was relentless. We noticed they had not gone through ALL The items. They actually started selling box’s that weren’t open for $5! They sold tables with high end items for $5. This practice was agreed NOT to do under ANY circumstance.

When i said enough is enough he just started saying Sold, Sold, to get through as much as he could. Part of the contract was that they would put items back or take away (at my expense). They kindly (sarcastically laughing) offered to take away the boxes they never went through or took pictures of for $200 a Load. Then probably sell for a few thousand with the Guns I think they conspired and bought. I may be wrong but sure as hell felt like that. One box in the back was packed with silver items. Worth a lot as silver was at its high that day. They were selling for $5! I had it appraised and it was at street value, just under $2000. Oscar was nice. Stephanie WAS nice. Once they sold an item they were not suppose to. Clearly told before "don’t sell this one!” But The did. Their employee bought it. I tried to buy it back and after him insulting me, calling me a liar over other items (he did apologize when he realized I never lied about anything) he tried to extort me. He lied and said Sotheby’s had appraised the item. Sotheby’s doesn’t appraise pictures. Oh the irony. He wanted 5 times what he paid for an item I didn’t want to sell. This was the fun expert that had ME explain each gun. So no clue why he was there? I did their job for that section of the auction.

Thank God I ended it. Before the the auction I said I needed the receipts of the gun buyers. I said I only sell to people with AZ DL & a CCW. They said they had it under control. So when I asked for the receipts that I signed, Stephanie refused. Made up a lame excuse that I was going to harass the buyers? Why? Why in earth would I? They did nothing wrong but the employee in my eyes. I was going to get cases and gun manuals etc to the buyers. I think they were afraid I was going to sell to the buyers other Guns I had or figure out they sold get no to a person that wasn’t the actual buyer... That’s my story! Be careful.

I can’t find a honest Wstate Sale company in AZ. Sad, it’s probably a very good business. I’m very curious to why Roland the owner ISN’T the owner like he said! They don’t do research, pictures are crap and no labeling on their site. 9,000 people? I’d Love to see that! Really truly LOVE to see that. I do t mind not getting top dollar. I don’t like how I was treated, how I was lied to and how they treated the legit buyers... the ones that are not their followers. It’s sad..... I couldn’t conduct business like that. Oh and Roland said he spent 4 days taking pictures and taking stuff out. Day 1 was about him trying to convince me to sell stuff we had no intention of selling. Day 2, 1/2 The same. He is a door to door sales man at best. He does have a great kid though. I hope he doesn’t take in the family bush ness.. Stay Away!!!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

We Have Never Done Business with this person

Ripoff Report sets the record straight!  All users of Ripoff Report have an opportunity to tell their side of the story for free!

AUTHOR: Blue Leaf - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, July 10, 2015

I was just made aware that this post existed on this site. I would like to make it know that Blue Leaf Estate Auctions has NEVER conducted business with this person, there is not contract between anyone named Patricia and my company. I contacted the Ripoffreport and they told me the only way to remove fictitious reports is to pay $2000 for them to take it off their site and there was still not guarantee it would be removed.  It’s unfortunate that people are allowed to do this.

What I can say, is that we are one of the busiest estate auction companies in Arizona. We have maintained number one status in the state of Arizona for all of 2014 and all of 2015 as of 7/2015, named by Estatesale.com  I appreciate competition and would not like to think another company has posted a negative comment to try and knock Blue Leaf Estate Auctions out of the number one spot. If anyone has read this I hope you take into consideration that this is not a factual claim and we have had over 500 successful estate auctions in the last 3 years.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Garcia

Blue Leaf Estate Auctions

EDITOR’S NOTE:  Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, even when it is about us.  We understand that people who have complaints written about them are upset and want to place blame somewhere, especially if they feel the content of the Reports are false.  We also understand that individuals want to blame our website rather than where it belongs – on the person who wrote the Reports in the first place.  Using the same method that we provide free of charge to all of our users, we would like to “set the record straight” as to the comments posted about our website through this Rebuttal.

Every user of our website has the opportunity to tell their side of the story, for free, just as we will do here.  We certainly encourage users to “set the record straight” and tell their side of the story by using the free methods available to them before they consider other paid Ripoff Report programs (such as our VIP Arbitration Program or the Corporate Advocacy Program) or alterative avenues (such as filing a lawsuit against the Author of the report) that cost money.  After all, all we know is that users of our site affirm, before posting a Report, that the information is truthful and accurate and the user acknowledges that the information will become a permanent record.  This is why we allow Reports, Comments, Rebuttals and Updates, for free, by anyone (including the person/company posted about) who has information to share about the situation.  This includes the ability to upload documents that support the position that is being advanced.  By doing so, all sides of the story are able to be heard so other users of the site can make an educated decision about the situation for themselves. We encourage people to stick to the facts and write calmly worded accounts of the situation.

It is clear that the author of the above Rebuttal is upset about the content that the original Report Author wrote about them and seemingly wants to blame Ripoff Report for providing a forum where people can come and openly comment about their experiences.  Again, we encourage people to stick to the facts and write calmly worded accounts of the situation.  Further, it’s absurd to propose that Ripoff Report, which is an open and interactive website, should not be available for people to make comments without fact checking every single statement of fact posted.  With that kind of rationale, one could kiss the internet goodbye.  Do you think that Facebook or Twitter or any other mainstream interactive websites, including news blogs, would exist if you told the users that no one could post any comments about anyone, or anything without first fact checking everyone’s comments?  Of course not!  To require such action would be to stifle the freedom of speech and the free exchange of information and ideas.  Ripoff Report is “for consumers, by consumers” and, in fact, our Terms of Service say, at paragraph 3, “Opinions, advice, statements, offers or other information or content made available through ROR are those of their respective authors and not of [Ripoff Report] and should not necessarily be relied upon.  Such authors are solely responsible for the accuracy of such content.  [Ripoff Report] does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on ROR and neither adopts nor endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made.”  Ripoff Report does not hold out that any information posted by users of the website is accurate or necessarily reliable.  We encourage people to conduct thorough research, through more than one forum/medium, before making final decisions about an particular individual or business.  After all, no business can please 100% of their customers 100% of the time.  Sometimes there are miscommunications.  Sometimes a business’s staff member is having a bad day.  Sometimes the customer is having a bad day.  Warranted or not…all businesses get complaints.  We believe it’s how businesses take care of the complaints that separates good businesses from the rest.

The Rebuttal author had the opportunity to write a calmly worded Rebuttal to explain their position regarding the Report at issue.  They did so, in part – but then chose to make an inaccurate statement.  DO YOUR RESEARCH before assuming that everything you read on the internet is true.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT:

1)     Those who use the site affirm, before posting, that the information is truthful and accurate.  The author is the one who assumes liability for posting information, if, in fact, what they say is false.

2)     Ripoff Report is a forum for free speech and does not assume liability for content which was written by a third party in such an interactive forum.  This is the same for other sites where people can openly post content and the law that supports this is the Section 230(c) of the Communications Decency Act.

3)     $2,000 is the cost of Ripoff Report's VIP Arbitration Program - a program that removes only challenged statements of facts in a Report that are found to be to be false after presentation of evidence to an independent arbitrator.  Even in that instance, the Report is not removed. Only challenged statements of fact that are found to be false by the arbitrator will be (((REDACTED))).  Ripoff Report’s panel of arbitrators are highly skilled and do not work for free.  Nor does our administrative staff work for free.  Accordingly, Ripoff Report has to charge a fee in order to offer the program.  To understand the full context of our Arbitration Program, we invite you to review all of the applicable information, including the Program Rules, by visiting our arbitration webpage at http://www.ripoffreport.com/Arbitration.aspx

4)     What the above Rebuttal author posted about Ripoff Report is simply inaccurate and we encourage you to do your own research.

Consumers – if a business reaches out to you to try and resolve a problem, whether it be through postings on our website or other avenues, we encourage you to work with the business and work through the situation with fairness in mind.  Sometimes a resolution just cannot be reached and each party is entitled to his/her opinion about the situation.  We don’t condone businesses trying to take advantage of consumers – that’s why our website was started in the first place.  At the same time, we don’t condone consumers, other business competitors, or disgruntled ex-employees or partners trying to take advantage of businesses either.  To all parties:  Keep it calm.  Keep it honest.  Keep it fair. Do your research.

We thank you for taking the time to read this Rebuttal and allowing us to “set the record straight.”
