I had the extreme displeasure of working with Sharaye Smith of Blue Phoenix Media (http://www.bluephoenixmg.com) for my website project and it was the WORST experience I have ever had.

Everything started off fine at first. Sharaye seemed very knowledgeable and I really thought she understood my business... that quickly changed. After paying my deposit and providing all my content I never heard back from her. I called, emailed, and left message and message with no return. Finally she called me back, with a terrible attitude, telling me I was "bothering her". Mind you, it had been over 3 weeks and I hadn't heard anything from her, now I'm bothering her? She then went on to give me excuses about how her kids were sick and she was busy with other work.

How are you so busy when you took on my project with a contract and then fell off. Not only that, but overall she was just RUDE and MEAN. All my questions were responded to with short, snippy remarks..if she even bothered to respond at all. When the project was finally completed, about 2 months late, it looked terrible,  the graphics and website looked sloppy and quickly thrown together.  Even worse she wouldn't even work with my to answer my questions without charging me a "consulting fee". 

Basically she told me "take it or leave it, NO REFUNDS". I wouldn't recommend Sharaye Smith or Blue Phoenix Media group to my worst enemy. She cost me loads of time and money and really left a bad taste in my mouth for web and graphic designers. Stay away from them at all costs http://www.bluephoenixmg.com/

I am Sharaye Smith, proud owner of Blue Phoenix Media.  We have serviced
our clients for almost 8 years with excellent service.  I am very
surprised that a report such as this has been written about my company. 

My client who has responded initially told me about this.  Good thing
that for this particular customer, I kept records on all of our
interactions and correspondence. 

First of all, I do not have any clients named Megan, so I knew that the
women who wrote this comment were lying from the start.  Their names are
based out of Norcross, Georgia.  The project that I was contracted to do
was a logo, business card design and print, and e-commerce website. 
The client approved all of these items and even attempted to refer
clients to me.  It was after I refused to give them a service outside of
what the above mentioned contract included, we ran into issues.  No
business owner should have to do work for free. 

Also, I quickly ended our phone conversations when I would speak to
Wyketha Card, and some of my words would get turned around when Swan
Goodwin heard them, and therefore I would get explicative directed
towards over nothing.  So, to make sure that all lines of communication
were clear I only communicated with them via email.

I completed my task and trained them on how to maintain their website. 
After the project was completed, I continued to receive request that
were outside of the scope of the project.  When I said that I would not
do it, I received a long threatening email from Swan.   This is when I
stopped all communication with them.  They even proceed to contact my
business associate at that time, and attempted to do the same thing that
they are trying to achieve with filing this report, tarnish my
reputation simply because I would not let them take advantage of my

This happened around June or July of last year.  Here we are almost a
year later, and I have a rip off report filed against me and my
company.  So, I decided to check on the website that I had developed for
them and NOT to my surprise, that SAME EXACT LOGO AND WEBSITE is in
use.  I have also received email blast/ads from the company, advertising
the SAME WEBSITE that I did.  Now, if my work was so bad, why would you
still use it, almost 1 year later?  And products have been updated on
the site since I handed it over to them.

I know that "megan" aka SWAN GOODWIN and WYKETHA CARD is going to file a
response.  The response will probably call me a liar, rude, mean.  It
will probably state that everything that I stated was untrue.  That I am
the scum of the earth, or whatever explicative under the sun.  But I
know that I as a professional did everything under the sun to complete
this project. 

And as a woman of faith, I believe and stand by my work.  I put my heart
into every project that I do and appreciate all of my clients who trust
me with their vision because I understand how tough it is to start a
business.  The last thing that you need is someone to take advantage of

And as I stated after I received the threatening email from Swan, I
still wish you the best in all that you do.  It is a shame that it had
to come to this.  I had to respond to this non sense.  But as my client
jwill stated, you cannot be in business for 8 years, and only receive
one complaint.

Oh yeah, and I have attached screen shots of our email correspondence,
the email ads that you sent promoting the website that I had developed,
and the website that I designed for further evidence.

Everyone's experience is unique. I'm glad your experience was not the nightmare that mine was. 

But really, to attack me and say that I'm fake when you sign your name as "Signed a dedicated client of Blue Phoenix Media" is a little fishy. Nice try Ms. Smith, seems you respond faster when people calling you out for you poor customer service and bad attitude then when people are paying for a service to be provided. 

This seems to be more of a deflection from issue at hand than anything else, especially since you personally attack me in calling me the issue. 

I'm just informing people of a terrible experience, they can deal with you, waste their money, and see for themselves.

I have worked with Sharaye Smith since she has been in business in 2004.  I own several businesses around the Atlanta area, and she has helped me market and grow these businesses from day 1.

Sharaye is very patient with her clients, and discounts her fees to non-profits.  Blue Phoenix Media is a very professional company, with a very passionate CEO.  She has been in business for too long for this loser to come and try to ruin her business.

Out of 7-8 years doing business, this is her ONLY rip off report, WTH!  You really need to get a life!  Did you ever think that you were the issue, Megan?  (As I am sure that is a made up name, if you were a real woman, you would just say your entire name instead of using an alias)!

This was created by an SEO company looking to get money off of ripoff report, THATS IT!  You need to be ashamed of yourself!  Get a life loser!!!
