SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I tried to get cash advance online, and it didnt go through. I just recently checked my bank statement online and noticed $60 got pulled out without me knowing. I called the bank and they said it was a company called BLUESTAR DIRECT. I've never authorized anything to get taken out of my account, when I did research about it...I found out that it was a SCAM!! I've been SCAMMED and now I feel horrible. That will be the first and last time I give out information online. It's not just me, there are many more out there who experience the same thing. I hope we can all put a stop to this, and hopefully I get a refund of my money back.

Are you sure it was Bluestardirect.com?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

I just checked the website at bluestardirect.com. This is not a loan company! This is a "membership" company for purchasing certain products from their "membership" merchants.

What they do offer is an interest free $5000 credit line that you can only spend at the "membership merchants." They do not give you a loan in the traditional in that they do not send you a check for $5000 or deposit $5000 in your bank account. What they do is give you the credit line to use on your special membership webpage where you can only purchase items from their "selected member merchants." They will make monthly debit from your bank to pay for the purchases you make PLUS their $20 maintenance fee.

Here's what I pulled from their website (you have to check the box to join):

"Authorization: I hereby authorize Bluestar Direct to debit my checking or other financial account for $60 one time enrollment fee and $20.00 monthly maintance fee. By submitting this form you verify that you acknowledge and understand all of the Terms and Conditions of this program, that you are at least 18 years of age and a U.S. resident."

This notice is clearly noted in the authorization of their sign up page. There is also a "terms and conditions" link with opens another window that explains what they do and what they charge you. If indeed you were on bluestardirect.com and signed up, you agreed to the terms and conditions even if you didn't read them. By checking the box, you indicated that you had read the "terms and conditions" and agreed to it.

You should cancel your membership immediately because they are going to hit your account each month for their $20 maintenance fee.

They claim that they mail out a membership package, if you received one, you should read everything, and then read everything again to determine how to cancel your membership.
