Multiple increasing estimates, double billing, excesive costs. First bill was $1062.62 And drover off with the same problem as I drove in; they agreed. .....

Problem on Chevrolet RV was noise and vibration. I was required to sign 4 estimates. This is of course a duress in that no one will do automotive work unless you sign an open ended contract. One which an estimate is nowhere near realistic nor any intention of trying to remain within miles of that figure.

The estimates were $75, $150, $175 and that billing resulted in two nights in a motel @$44. and false repair costs to me of $1062.62 an friving off with the same problem as I drove in. On my return the mechanic took me for as test drive and the noise was so bad one would have to be deaf not to hear it.

He reported to his boss (Servise Advisor). I did not hear what he said but the advisor told me "he does not hear anything wrong". To which I answered "he is flat out lieing". It so happened most of the mechanics and service manager wer all there and heard that. Why were they all there?

The service manager agreed there was a problem and ask for it to be brought back. This was done and another two estimate signing was required under duress. The outcome was another $210.68 bill and another night in a motel. A call to the service manager two weeks later showing him on the bill an item was double billed he agreed and ask for a phone number for me to call back. He has not called back but may need more time. I do not expect a call.
