In 2002 my mother and my boyfriend at the time went to Clayton home the purchase a home for us. My mother is on disabilty and my boyfriend was working a temporary agency job. At that time we use my boyfriend land as colladeral which value about 14,000 dollars.
My concern than as now that I see others being victims, did we get set up for failure. We were put on a Bessie loan program and within two years was to much for our income. 1. My mother was on a set income 2. My boyfriend was a temp. agency worker and used as a co-signer. 3 now that they foreclose on us it is effect his credit rate.
We are now married and have stable jobs but this is more than a lesson learn these people take advantage of us and got there commission. Now we are still suffering.
Please help us find and attoney that will help us regain our life back and be a to purchase a home. This Bessie loan thing I know now is called predetory lending and we want to fight back. HELP!!!!
