 I made the mistake of only researching this company after purchase due to a lack of availability of a specific product I was looking for. Once I found the Rip-off reports on them I grew suspcious.

 At first I was highly displeased at a lack of a tracking email all the way up to the day of Delivery.

 I quote their return policy " BrickHouse Security considers any item returned to our warehouse a return. This includes unclaimed packages that were shipped to the buyer and returned due to no signer, or any other reason. BrickHouse Security is not responsible for any shipper error. "

 I persisted for 5 days calling and emailing only getting an answering maching from customer service and no replies to my emails. I even called sales, as some always answers in sales, only to be told "They are very busy in customer service." Finally the day before the package came I was able to reach someone and got 2 emails the next day ( one later, after package delivery). The customer service was completely worthless as she had to ask shipping to send the tracking email. The only thing I did get from her was a repeated reference to the "custom" nature of my purchase.

Once the products came I inspected them thoroughly. I found both faces of both clocks scuffed and scratched. One of the clocks accessories had all been opened from their original packing envelopes and batteries strewn about loose in the box. The power adapter cord of that unit was also rough-shoddily hand wrapped instead of the usual factory twist-tie. To refute any ".. it was tested claims." the other clock's accessories were in the packaging as normal.

The clocks fail to keep time as the hour hand is slower than the minute hand. A complete failure of the advertised "working clock".

They hang at an angle due to a lack of balanced design looking very noticable.( like a crooked picture stands out to people.) These are supposed to be security cameras and not stand out.

 The directions are only partial copied pages of the orignal with refenences to non-available chapters. The type through said partial instructions are filled with intermittant spaces admist words making it very difficult to read. Although the given directions are enough to get the camera/clock working more in depth options are not available though refferenced.

Due to their policy reguarding so-called "custom" products I am stuck with these $400 not-so hidden cameras.

Quote of their policy;

We can not accept the return of certain items, including:

  • Used, Non-Defective products

  • Custom Built and Special order products, such as hidden cameras
  • One Time Use Products, including software, fluid detection kits, camera detectors, and counter-surveillance equipment

  • GPS Tracking devices

I personally find the ability to refuse returns of a custom products appauling.

 With the evidence of shoddy craftsmenship in hand I would reccomend avoiding this company at all costs. Their shipping ethics are lacking. Their availability of customer service virtually non-esistant. The practice and reliance of avoiding respsonsiblity by naming a product " Custom "  should be a huge red flag to anyone buying something they make and possibly to their ethic in business as a whole. Combine that with fishy return policies and we are shown another company out to make a buck, not a worthy product.
