Bright Builders contacted me after I was doing some research about at home business'. After a couple hours of hard selling tactics and not providing me ALL the fine print I was charged $6234.00 on my credit card with the promise of support and a web site and Ebay making me money before the first credit card payment was due. That time has long since past and I am now trying to recoupe all if not at least some of my money. I could not contact anyone by phone so I sent an email and got a response that someone would contact me to. This was sent on 6/29/06

After reviewing the products, methods and process that are offered by Bright Builders We have found that this is not what we were looking for nor is it what we were sold. We are merely looking to become a seller on Ebay utilizing a drop shipper for our merchandise. Many of the tools that you and your company have sold us for $6234.00 are merely more elaborate tools than those which we can utilize at no cost directly on Ebay. Would they help us move more products or increase my profit margins? Most likely they would do that. Are these tools what I need to make turn a profit in 20-30k per year range? No they are not.

At this time we would like to discontinue our relationship with Bright Builders and move in a different direction. We feel that we were lead into something that we did not need to achieve our goals. We do not feel that the support or options to chose to use your services that cost additional monies per month are worth the $6234.00 that we were charged up front. In fact we do not see anything that appears to be worth that kind of money with Bright Builders.

Everything except the first domain name registration cost additional money on top of what we have already given you. We would like to discuss what our options are in getting refunded our out of pocket expenses to this point and continue in a different direction. One in which we originally intended and that was to have a simple eCommerce business set up utilizing Ebay and the resources that are offered by them at no cost.

We look forward to speaking to you about this in the near future.

Got a phone call on 7/5/06 and "Erik" attempted to re sell me the product but I was not going to take that and after an hour of talk he told me he would call me the next evening and we would settle this.

I was contacted on Wednesday evening and there was discussion about my situation but no decision made by Bright Builders as to what to do next. Whom ever I spoke with was to be getting back to me last night. I have not heard from them since Wednesday. I knew I should have gotten a name and number to call back but trusted that I would hear back.

Do you have a way to find out who it was that I spoke with? If so would you please supply me with their contact information at your earliest convenience. Or a general number to "services" as you referenced below.

I tried calling the above number and it did not even ring?

I finally got a call back on 7/10 from "Erik" he offered to give us back $2000.00 but wanted to continue with helping us get our online store running as a courtesy. I did not accept that he then said the best he could do was give us back $4000.00. I asked what about the remaining $2234.00? I told him I understand there was some software that I would have to purchase but it is not worth $2324.00. He informed me there was a early termination fee!

I explained that I was never informed about that as had I known about it it would have sent up a red flag and I would not have agreed to the purchase without further investigating the company. He said they have to inform us by law before the purchase. I again told him I do not recall any such conversation. He told me he would get the tape and we could play it back and listen to it. He was going to call me back in 15 minutes. Three hours went buy no return call.

I again called the number above one ring and nothing. I dialed the extension and got an answer "Natioanl office what extension please" I asked for 1062 and was transfered, got a voice mail, left a message and now I wait. I am going to call my credit card company tonight and see about contesting the charges. I have already put a hold on any further charges on the credit card after finding out about all the reccuring monthly charges on top of the $6234.00 I had already spent. We will see. Updates as I get them.

Finally someone with customer service skills

I received three phone calls (two of them threatening) in an attempt to keep me using the product at a reduced invesment, with the same promise of support and wareentee of service.Or I can lose all my money by dispituing the charges. Last night I received the third call and aknowledgement that I had some problems with the personel on the first two calls.

I was immediantly offered a full refund minus the cost of the software that I had already loaded on my computer. I had made that very same offer to the first two callers that laughed at me. I will say this at least they were persistant and they did finally make it right. It was not pretty getting there but we made it.
