The Sales Rep that came to our house was provided our water pump curve and electric utility statement, that notes a rolling 12 months of electric use. He avoided taking the opportunity to review the documents provided. We told him that we had two objectives: 1) reliable power during grid down events, and 2) to off-set our large electric bill due to water pump use. When we continually asked about our objectives, he said we were good. Our final decision to purchase came down to qualifying for their promotion. While we talked about whether to purchase or not, he kept saying just purchase the one that fits your budget...

After installation, we learned that the Sales Rep. lied to us about both our objectives: The system needs AC from the utility in order to work, thus we still have zero power during a grid down and whenever our water pump comes on, the power comes from the grid versus solar. In addition he told us our monthly statement of payment owed would be around $125 to $150, instead our statement is actually $595/month.

We have attempted to resolve this directly with Brimma, including phone calls & emails directly with their management - only to be put off and ignored. We started with a planned system that we were very eager to promote and brag about, only to be left with a system that we are ashamed to promote or even bring up in idle conversations.

The product appears to be working, the problem exist with the sales approach that is supported by Brimma management. They use high pressure tactics and directly lie to the potential consumer; once locked in, they disappear off the radar to leave the consumer with the realization that they have just been caught in the age-old scam of a slick tongue sales person. They have their money and do not care that consumers will express their displeasure with EVERY person encountered.

Their focus; Scam as many folks as possible before government incentives run out.  Would also suggest folks wanting to know more about Brimma Solar to go to Better Business Bureau (BBB) to review complaints listed there.
