Yes, I moved in to my residence well before members of my resident council did. They moved in 4 years after me in 2009. Then 3 of them stole my resident council by creating a council with recurring elections run by the same man who is also the treasurer. Since i have been bullied and harrassed by a security guard to sleep with a possibly mentally ill elderly lady. I refused and slammed the door in his face. Then more instances accoured and I had to report the building for disturbing my peace at night, leaving a sign on my door.

When I did run for the council, their own by-laws said presidental candidates would be on their board of directors, which is also illegal as residents never approved the new by-laws. Now they want money for Christmas funds for employees and more each year, even sending out a reminder notice with ten days left to contribute. they also take their time fixing my bath room ceiling vent fan, six months last year to fix and stopped running again. Save yourself the trouble of moving in here unless you like bullies even while walking into the dining room which is the council and manager's fault for setting the rules without resident vote.
