Brothers of Blues DJs provide subpar work, even for their low prices. Jim, the owner ruined my wedding. His equipment kept cutting out in the middle of our FIRST dance, the most important dance of the night. The music sounded horrible and hurt everyone's ears. His Blues Brothers show was a waste of money. It was cheesy and uneventful. Not even remotely entertaining. Brothers of Blues ruined my wedding, and I suggest no one use their services ever.
I talked to THREE of his old employees and apparently he has a habit of ripping them off too. Making them do extensive amounts of work for low pay, and sometimes he wouldn't pay them at all. Not exactly the kind of person I enjoy doing business with.
Brothers of Blues is also another company, Skye Jumps. They provide inflatables for kids parties and such. We saw his inflatables and decided not to rent them. They smelled horrible and looked to have black mold!! I suggest you look for alternatives before choosing to do business with these companies. It's just not worth it.

I have been working for Jim since I was 16 and he is probably the best person to work for. He helped me when I had to move out, he helped me with money I can go on. This is such a bad post that has no real truth behind it but just a bitter ex employee. By the way when he said that Jim skipped cd's at his wedding first of all he was married before he even knew of this company and second we have not used cd's for over 6 to 8 years. So if you are looking at this you need to just take stupid things online with a grain of salt and most things posted on this crappy site have no truth to it. This site is such a scam to get give good companies a bad name and the only way to take it off the internet is to pay one of there lawers they have working for them.

It's terrible that anyone can just put something on this website without proof. Well I have hundreds of
clients that will tell you a different story. First the person that put this on here (curt) I never did his wedding(ask for pictures). He done a job for me many months ago and was late, did not play what he was suppose to, and was very mean to the client. Well it has been months needles to say he was not paid for the bad job he did and he, well you see will do whatever to try to make me look bad and since this site won't delete any post I needed to say this rebuttal. To this day I refuse to pay him for a job he did not complete. As for his wedding he was married way before he started working with me (get his contract if he has one and compare I think this site is a very bad website because there are people out there like this guy who can say what he wants and very few people but there are some that would read this site. I have never heard of it until I got a email from someone who wants money to remove this listing. So in closing before you read things online please get references and numbers of clients that a company has done. You can be missing out on a very good company because of people like my ex employee.
