Buchanan Clark & Wells Fraud Debt Collectors. Harrasment, intimidation Internet, Nationwide

Buchanan Clark & Wells is a particularly nasty sub-division of the bcw group that operates by fabricating an alleged "Debt" and then sending to a random address (usually of the vulnerable or elderly) and then bullying them for money and personal information.

Tactics uses are multiple letters and telephone calls demanding money that they cannot prove is owed and "Harvesting Information" from members of the public that they then use to obtain money through threat and menace.

Below is a copy of one response sent to them when they started harassing an elderly relative in the United Kingdom using the name of a fictional individual, they have so far ignored this and continue to make threatening telephone calls to the elderly person concerned....

"Please be aware that a FIFTH letter has been returned to you, unopened, at your alternative address of PO BOX BRISTOL BS34 9DB.   

Again we state that there IS NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN any such person as "DEANHAN" resident at ................  Again it is on the advice of the Police that we do not enter into personal conversation with you or with any of your associates as this is most likely what they are calling an "information harvesting scam" of which their are many.
The fact that you do not really know whom is resident at this address is very disturbing indeed, and in fact I strongly suspect you are connected to other fraudulent organisations such as CASTLE COMMUNICATIONS and TPS all of whom have been sending letters here looking for people by the names of - DEANAN, DOONAN, DAEMON, DENEAN, DANNON.  Again there IS NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN any persons of those names resident at ...............

The other disturbing fact is the behavior of your telephone staff whom I understand have called this residence twice yet despite being told of the situation continued to bully the elderly resident there demanding personal information.We have also been informed by the Police that all GENUINE companies are required  BY LAW  to provide an accreditation number either in the telephone or in the window of their mail correspondence.  The fact that BUCHANON CLARKE & WELLS does not in fact have an accreditation number is further confirmation in the opinion of the Police that you are another fraudulent company attempting to obtain money by deception.
Please be aware that we will continue to report your company and behavior to tho Police as we both know that without an actual accreditation number your correspondence are entirely bluff and unenforceable so I STRONGLY advise that you do not contact ............... again.

I sincerely hope this is the last time I need to send a correspondence of this nature."


Unfortunately the letters and telephone calls have not stopped.
