Buckles and Buckles PLC Geraldine C Buckles Overwhelming and Threatening Harassment while injured from an Accident and Unemployed Birmingham Michigan

To Whom it may concern. I have had lost my ability to pay on my credit card to two different credit card companies when I lost my job. I was a care giver to my mom , and because of missing to much time from work in 2009, I was fired on Christmas eve to boot!

I tried to arrange payments to the Retailers National Bank, better known as Target National, but was only allowed on an hardship program for 6 months. After the 6 months the payments increased to a regular amount that I was unable to pay. I continued to make that same payment at a reduced rate of $60 per month but the amount that I owed increased and late charges and fees were added creating an enourmous amount due.

Trying to pay the debt while unemployed and I could not. There fore I had to quit paying as I was getting no where but further in debt. One other credit card company wrote me off as well as Target did also. I remained unemployed for two years. 

I did become employed again after 2 years. By this time I am now severly behind and barely keeping my car running and pay for gas to get back and forth to work. I am a single woman with no other income. 

I was then notified by Buckeles and Buckles by constant phone calls and threating voice messages that I did not record or keep, but was them demanding that I make payment on this credit card or they would be taking me to court. They finally succeeded in doing so this year, I have been sick with health issues and had lost many days from work. They even garnished my wages making it impossible for me to eat, fix my car, or pay my utilities or other bills, resulting in others wanting to garnish my wages. 

This harassment caused me to get sick at work and I had to leave work in an emergency situation as my blood pressure was running to high for me to perform my job as a bus driver. I then had to be placed on medication as a result of this.

I had lost wages, lost time from work, had to attend court twice, and I agreed to make payments as I could afford after I won to remove the garnishment order on august 21, 2013. However the following day I was injured in an motorcycle accident on my way to worl. From all the stress of this, I have not been sleeping regular, and I am having a very tough time since I have not enough money to live on and cannot get my car the needed repair that it needs for me to continue working.

I wrote to Buckles and Buckles and told them of my accident along with sending proof that I was going on a family medical leave, and had no income since the accident. I will not be going back until next week on November 11, 2013. I also explained to them by mail that even though the garnishement was lifted on August 21st 2013, I was not paid until August 23rd and they still recieved garnishment money two days past the order because I could not get it stopped in time. There fore I asked them if they could accept what I felt was an over payment as payment for the next three months, until I get back to work or notifiy them of my condition. 

Now they are ordering me back into court for non payment. What is wrong with these people when I am keeping them informed of what is going on. Been out of work for over 2 months with recieiving barely any income,, and now they are going to sue me again even though I sent them certified mail of my condition. 

Very rare does any collection agency sue for non payment of credit card and keep this up with harassment for a debt that I tried to pay on 4 years ago. So they continue to harass a single woman who is barely making it and off injured. If I have to take more time off of work, I will lose my job.
