First of all the customer service is horrible in this place, they lie, manipulate and scam their way to making money.

I recently moved into a Budget Suites of America in Dallas. I signed a month lease and paid in full up front. Before I signed, I made sure to reitterate the fact that I wanted copies of all documentation, which seemed to just annoy and unsettle the staff. I also asked a few times if the area was safe and if I had anything to worry about, I also asked if there were many break-ins or violent crimes committed lately. To my pleasure, I hear "nope, this place is safe". Four days later, my truck got broken into and was almost stolen. Also, I came to find out that a man and his wife were murdered in the building next to me a month and a half ago. I went to the front office and asked to speak with a manager about a refund. I was told "I dont have that clearance, come back tommorrow", the next day, "I dont have that clearance, come back tommorrow you will have to speak with a manager", the following day (day 3), I ask for Dianne, "oh shes not here, she gets in tomorrow at 7a.m." To my frustration, I woke up early for work and went to the front office and to no surprise Dianne is no where to be found, " I told you to come back tomorrow at noon" I was told, which just angered me, at this point I had used up almost an entire weeks worth of living payment. I finally get to the office on day 5 and finally get to meet Dianne where we argue and she says "ill give you one week, thats it, take it or leave it" so I agree and go on my marry way. I move out a few days later, and leave some of my stuff there, thinking I still had a week to get my stuff out, however, three days later I returned to get the rest of my stuff and to my surprise, it is all gone! I have repeatedly been in to talk to Dianne and her hours seem to be fluctuating rather routinely, with the staff constantly telling me different hours.

Apparently, Dianne had pulled a fast one on me and refunded me two and half weeks of rent, although I was thrilled to have it back, I now see why she didnt tell me I needed to be out that day. She has reported to me that my items were simply "not there" She basically went in there and took all my stuff and kept it. All I want is my things back and Dianne to pay for my loss. The most shady people on the planet work at Budget Suites. I tried contacting headquarters and going over Dianne's head but to no avail. This whole situation just angers me.

DO NOT LIVE IN BUDGET SUITES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
