Bulk Candy Store I placed an on line order for Easter candy for my ten year old twin nieces and it was sent to incorrect address. The company only offered the remedy of reshipping but would not arrive until after Eas 235 North Jog Road, Florida

Placed an online order for Easter candy and then called the company to review the order as the website was not working correctly. I received two confirmations with the correct information and that it was shipped correctly. Instead the company sent the gift to me and not my 10 year old nieces. I called and spoke to that owner Ken and he offered to ship out another order but it would not arrive until after Easter. In addition, he wanted me to ship back the order delivered to my home and had no sensitivity as to the huge mistake his company made. Not only do I have a Bo's of Easter candy I paid 50.00 for, but the two little girls will not get candy from me for Easter. Their mother will now have to go out purchase additional candy that I will reimburse her for so now I've spent $100 on Easter candy. This owner of the company did not care nor would rectify the situation! In addition, he hung up on me - his way of not dealing with customers. Very poor business beware of ordering from this company.

I am the "Ken" referred to in the complaint, and yes, we made a mistake. However we also offered to fix that mistake, but the customer wanted more. First off, we ship 1000s of orders a month and take our customer service very seriously - in fact with over 10 years online, this is our first complaint on this forum (or almost anywhere else), so we must be doing something right.

This customer's order was shipped to the wrong address and when she brought it to our attention, we offered to overnight the candy to her nieces at our expense and send a call tag to pick up the product that she had. We also asked if she would like to ship it direct and we would pay for it.  She felt that wasn't enough. She wanted us to overnight the product, refund her for what she had bought and let her keep it. We felt that was a bit much. We had acknowledged our mistake and offered to correct it as best we could.

In addition, I did not hang up on her. When she (and her husband yelling in the background) didn't like what we were offering, I asked what else we could do and she said "My husband says forget it" and hung up.

As I stated at the beginning of this message, we have thousands of satisfied customers and one of the reasons we do is that when we make a mistake, we own it and deal with it.

I'm sorry this customer was not satisfied, however we believe we offered a fair response, and probably would have offered more if she had not been so insistent on only what she wanted and didn' t give us a chance.
