I started my website in mid-September 2016. Within 2 months I was getting solicitation calls from other companies that wanted my business. JD called January 5th offering marketing and consulting to build my business. He started with a 12 month contract for $4,995, to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, entry into the top 10 SEOs, with a custom web community, a mobile website, and 1 on 1 coaching. Before I signed, he increased the time to 17 months.

The next week he came back and said I needed directories too: an additional charge of $1,650. Six weeks later he convinced me he was working with the top cosmetics company, *****, that would pay out top dollar at $1800/mo for advertising on my website. All I needed was Facebook marketing, which was $2000. Of course, my first check would almost cover the bill. A no-brainer. It would begin March 15th.

When the check didn't come, he denied that was what he told me. He said that a beta test was being conducted, which would take 3 weeks. Most of my calls were not returned. Those times we did talk, he scheduled meetings with me rather than deal with the problem directly. Meetings were postponed. Excuses were made. He said he was neck deep in a project to bring the company public.

The weeks became months. Jacob D******** is a master manipulator. One time he said my website would sell for $20,000. After so many months, June 13th, 2017, he called with a note of excitement in his voice, "Hi, Beautiful!" I was relieved that he was willing to talk, so he must have good news. He gave excuses about *****, but said he could get other advertisers through a source he named as Halo. More months passed. October 10th, he said I needed a marketing campaign to push my traffic up to 5,000. He said it would take 2 months and $2,000. Meetings for reports were persistently rescheduled. On December 4th he checked my traffic and reported that my traffic had never been initiated! What!

So then, he assured me he could access Markethealth.com and get 3 advertisers at $1,000 each which would be better that what he originally promised. All this time, ***** was advertising on my site. There was even a tab for them on my homepage. BIG was also advertising on the site.

I sent a letter to the CEO, Cornelius M****** demanding my money back. Among my complaints was that I researched the Top 10 Directory submissions I paid for, determined they were either closed, or not even listed as directories! He persuaded me to let him take over my business. He said that the 5,000 followers was not near enough to serve the purpose of securing advertisers. This guy was trying to milk me for more money!

10 days later, I sent another letter again demanding every payment made for services be reimbursed to me. I had lost 18 months of income, $32,400. Including the contracts I signed for $10,600, the total was $43,000! These individuals have lied and cheated me. And, I know the treatment I received is not directed at me personally. This is the way they do business with all their customers. They must be held accountable or be put out of business! Business Innovations Group is corrupt, because the people who are Business Innovations Group are corrupt.

I recently reported my experiences to BBB of Salt Lake City, Utah, as BIG also lists their office at that location. Check it out. Cornelius responded that they make no guarantees that they can perform. What!?!  If they can't get advertisers, as JD claimed repeatedly, why would a business hire them? Cornelius sent me an agreement to pay $3,026. Although they should be accountable for their claims, at the minimum I will not accept less that what I paid to do business with them.
