Butler Transport Driver UN-friendly Kansas City Kansas

 I started to work at Butler as a driver w 30+ yrs OTR experience. My starting salary is .36 cpm. I am bringing home an average of $600.00 to $800.00 a week. Pay and miles are pretty decent here. The problem for me us they don't like drivers. All contact is over Qualcomm. If you call them on the phone they don't return your calls. This includes the log dept., safety and compliance dept., shop, and dispatch. If you have a problem their motto is "deal w it". I got a clean road side inspection in Tx and the officer asked that I replace the trailer registration w one that isn't worn. I asked Butler , on Qualcomm, twice for one. No reply. If you free-form a msg to them they only respond if it benefits them. In fact I have received msgs from dispatch asking that we drivers not bother them today. Who do they think brings the money in? Last I ck'd, dispatchers are supposed to work with and for the drivers. In orientation they stressed how important communication is at Butler....ppffft. That's crap. Then, they give you loads that are late before you even get them loaded! Then get attitudes w you when you are late delivering them. But meanwhile, they touted how important safety and running legal is to them. Double ppffft! Warning: they have a driving school but I haven't hooked to a trailer yet that isn't beat to hell n back so that tells you the caliber of driver they are putting out there. I am not afraid to post my real name for this report either, so you know I'm tellin it like it is. JB Hunt would be a better place to work then this circus act. I have never worked for a more mickey mouse outfit in all my years. My last day w them will be the first day of my vacation in Nov. I can't wait to get out of the seat of this slow a** bucket of nuts n bolts!
