I received this email from a company on CareerBuilder.com during my job search:

After careful review of your resume we would like to offer you an interview with our District Manager, Felix. Mr. Wilcots, will be covering available positions, compensation, advancement opportunities, and benefits/perks. All candidates must pass a background check and drug test.

This email turned out to be a hoax. This company is deliberately playing on the emotions of people who are in need of a job. As you can see, I had an interview scheduled for this afternoon with this company. I shaved, ironed my clothes and was preparing to go on this interview and decided to Google the company to get some information about it before meeting with Mr. Wilcots. When I put the name in Google, RipOff Report popped up and I began reading the horror stories about other people being ripped off IN OTHER STATES by this company. They have clearly been getting around.
If you are in the Atlanta, GA area and you recieve an email from them DO NOT RESPOND, it isn't real. The manager; Mr. Felix Wilcots clearly isn't the man that he claims to be. Also if you are searching for jobs and you come across ads stating to be: ENTRY LEVEL OPENINGS, SPORTS MINDED, SALES MANAGEMENT, etc. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THESE. They are door to door jobs that require you to work 70-80 hours a week for little or no pay and their promises of advancement are null and void. These companies are using people's financial hardships to gain employees that they don't pay and treat bad. Put C4 Connections LLC in the search bar and read what others have to say about them if you dont believe me!!!

This Company had us do a group information session, and we gave the speaker our resumes. I saw door to door salesmen in the office reviewed stats on the white board. I gave them my certification information resumes and other information...weird... they emailed me again. Only to invite me back to the same seminar..; for the same job with the same person... the speaker said we would be speaking to LAMONT, BUT HE WAS STILL AWAY ON CHRISTMAS VACATION. MIND YOU IT IS LIKE THE SECOND WEEK OF JAN... KEY SIGN THAT I DUNNO IS THIS PLACE LEGIT...AND IF ATT IS GIVING THESE PPL CONTRACT TO SELL SERVICES IN ATLANTA AND ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER i FEEL THEY ARE MOST DEFINATELY TARNINSHING ATT IMAGE

Maybe you should have stayed around & gave it a shot. My name a Dylan Strickland & I'm a Regional manager for C4. I've been with them for only 2 years to earn my title (FYI I'm only 20 years old). I thought the same thing you did but I was convinced to be open minded & stuck around. Since then ive been all over the country with C4 & have earned over 6 figures both years & have w-9's to prove so. This company turned me from struggling in my home town under my parents roof to now be able to provide my parents a roof without them having to worry about financial stress. And for anyone in the Atlanta area that would like to see the proof, fell free to contact me or come by my office (550 Pharr rd, Atl, 30305) and I would be glad to introduce you to some of my agents and allow them to tell you their story's about how this company has impacted their life. As for Mr Wilcox, Hr is one of my good friends also a regional manager & shares a huger success story than myself. Just because its not for you, or because your too close-minded to accept the fact that you can be extremely successful at something that doesn't catch your eye, gives you no right to express yourself in this manor. As you continue to look for a job, we'll continue to change ours lives for the better.
