California Laminated Products ripped off $179.00 dollars, won't uphold contract!! ripoff Sacramento california

My wife and I ordered a counter top through california laminated products.We gave them our measurements of (10 1/2")for the front and (35 1/2") for the rear. When we picked up our counter top we noticed it was not as ordered.

The front was (9 3/4") ,so we we asked them to recut it to what we ordered. Richard (the president) said he himself cut the top and knew it wasn't correct but was told buy alica that she called us to confirm the size.

No one called us ,and if they had,we would have told them what we had alreadly ordered.All of our spec's are on a (CONTRACT) of thier's that state (SIZE AS PER CUSTOMER). When I asked them to recut my top to what I ordered, Richard said they would have to recharge us!and that since we didn't remeasure the tops at time of pickup and had signd for it there's nothing he can do.

We then asked for a refund on the grounds of the top being mis-cut. Richard still said NO but would offer a discount on a new top!! We had to reorder our top through someone else. Me and my wife feel like they were trying to double charge us for one top. (HONOR YOUR CONTRACTS C.L.P) YOU RIPPED ME OFF!
