I called Calvary Cars and spoke with a Mr. Ron Marshall. He was very nice and professional. I told him that I had $200 to put down on a vehicle and that I had a steady job (for 4 1/2 years) and have lived in the same residence for 5 years. He took my application over the phone and said that he would pick me up to show me his car lot. He told me that I would be driving a car that same day.

An hour or so later Mr. Marshall calls me and says he needs me to talk to a finance company. He told me to lie to the finance company by saying that I had $800-$1,000 to put down and that I could pay $400 per month on the loan. I reminded him that I only had the $200 to put down and could afford no more that $300 per month on the loan. He told me not to worry about it because the loan would cover the differences.

I called the finance company, but I did not lie to them. I was honest. Mr. Marshall calls me back and sounded angry that I didn't lie like he had told me to do. He gave me another finance company to call. The Lady I was supposed to talk to was not in so I left a message, but she never called me back. A short while later Mr. Marshall calls me back claiming that someone else from the finance company had been trying to call me, but kept getting a message saying I was not available. That was a lie because I had my phone next to me the whole time and also I told Mr. Marshall that I was able to receive his call with no problem.

So Mr. Marshall tells me to call them back. Said they were waiting for me to call. I called immediately, but got a message saying they were closed. The next day I received a call from the finance company and I answered their questions. I was told that Mr. Marshall would call me back, but he never did.

The next day I called Mr. Marshall and he said he was having trouble finding me a lender. He said my down payment would have to be at least $1500. At this point I was tired of the waiting and the lies. Mr. Marshall wasted 3 days of my time so I told him to cancel my application.

I am posting this in hopes that my report will help someone else. For 4 days I held up my end, but they never did help me. Complete waste of time.
