Cambria Apartments - Gilbert Arizona Cambria Luxury Apartments Danger to Residents Health! - Possible Resident Fatalities - Irresponsible - Untruthful - Deceptive Management Gilbert Arizona

My friends lived here and moved because of the unsafe and unhealthy conditions.  This past year 2017, six reesidents have left Cambria.   There must be issues, you think?  

My husband is a 72 year old permanently service connected disabled veteran.  We moved from Nebraska for a warmer climate, due to his life expectancy getting shorter.  

We moved into Cambria Apartments in Gilbert Arizon.  The first apartment they put us in was discovered to have gross, long-time "Black Mold" throughout the entire kitchen, under the shink shelving, under the tiles, and 2" to 3" inches thick throughout the entire inside cabinate where the dishwasher was installed.  

In discovering the "Black Mold" it was discoveere that Cambria knew it was there, because the mold had been painted over in numberous areas around the sink and disghwasher.  We lived in this criricall dangerous apartment for nearly a year before discoving the mold, when a leak from the dishwaher had to be fixed, exposing the mold.!  

My husban has serious heart and breathing problems, having had a 5 bypass heart surgery, 2 cancer removals and other related chronic health issues.  Cambria's intentional deception of the mold could have killed him.  And it took government agencies to force cambria to step up and move us to another apartment.

The new apartment was over three garages that opened and closed (electric) all hours of the day and night.  Our peace and ability to sleep was distrurbed constantly. We moved to another unit, to escape the issues.  This unit has become a neglected ghetto, flie and mosuito infested area, due their negligence of yard care.  From January 1, 2017 through September 25, 2017, (present), not one request to cure the isues ahas been complied with.  

The entire area was under water from January thru May because of broken sprinklers, then the water became mold, and moss as the summer heats of 110 to 122 bahked the water areas.  The smell was outrageious.  It became a breeding and feedig area for flies and mosuitos.  We had hundreds of the every where, including their envading our apartments through our open and closing our doors.  

Arizona was broadcasting Warnings for serious "Nile Virus" and "Zika" diseases, from mosuitos, qwhich could easily be befatal to my husband.  Cambria promised Pest Control, which we pay for every month in our lease, but they never came, from June 2017 through September 25, 2017 (current).

Because of our desperate attemptems to get them to live up to their obligations under the laws of Landlords and Tennants Act. Arizona, we were served with a "Vacate Notice" on September 15, 2017.  BEWARE OF THE LIES, UNSAFE AND UNHEALTHY CAMBRIA APARTMENT COMPLEX IN GILBERT. ARIZONA. Especially if you are elder, disabled, have children or don't want to become stricken with bad health problems or possibly die.

My husband is in poor physical and mental health due to his military service connected health issues, whch have been exasperated by the unsafe and unhealthy conditions at Cambria Apartments in Gilbert, Arizona.  

We moved to this warmer climate (Arizona) because his doctors recommendation it after he had a 5 bypass heart surgery, 4 strokes, 2 cancer removals, cataract surgery, intestinal hernia, and untreatable intracranial artery stenosis, and carotid arteries stenosis. (Severe Blockage of his Brain and Neck Vessels)  

However, his health has depreciated rapidly living here at Cambria.  

1.) First there were massive areas of Black Mold present, in our first apartment that was not revealed to us.  We had lived here for nearly a year before discovering it.  The inspectors reported the mold had been covered and painted over by Cambria.  My husband could have died as a result. 

In our current apartment, we suffer from physical and mental impairments.

Including but, limited to, breathing issues exasperated by the gardeners coming every Tuesday and power blowing the dead dry dirt, where the gras once grew.  This makes no sense!

The results of their stupidity are huge swirling dust bowls of debris that covered the entire area beyween 11 apartments from the ground up and over, the roof tops of the buildings second story.  We cannot go out. leaving our apartments without gagging from the filthy air and other debris.  This is a serious danger especially to those with existing lung and breathing problems like my husband. 

Our lease agreement states that Cambria will maintain a safe and fit place for residents.  Yet in my husbands complaints regarding the dangers of the outside area, flies, mosquitos, spiders and Scorpions that have been biting residents, we have neen deprived, ignored and lied to over and over from 1/17 to 9/23/17.  And the issues remain unattended to by Cambria.     

Cambria is a dangerous apartment complex for residents to live in, especially, children, elders and diabled persons.  

The only safe and well kept areas are those within, and surrounding the complex office.  It is their show and tell area, perhaps defind as the "Bait and Switch" area.   

According to government agencies, and the laws within the Arizona Landlords and Tennant Act, our rights as tennants have been violated and the notice for "Non-Renewal of Lease Notice" dated 9/15/17, is an act of "Retaliation", per the law.  

Note:  The notice came folowing a Cambria survey 9/17, and a follow up e-mail from my husband.   Both followed by a call from the regional manager on 9/14/17, and the unexpected notice to vacate served on us the very next day 9/15/17.

My husbands concern is the children and families. These are neighbors, that are unhappy living in unsafe conditions.  And our being ignored and lied to regarding our numerous complainst, being followed by Cambrias continued failure to make any corrections.

This health damaging vicous cycle has gone on from January 1, 2016, due to the one year mold, issue (1/1/16 to 1/1/17) and nine (9) additional months  (1/1/17 to 9/23/17).

Government and civil action is being pursued.
