THIS COMPANY PROMISED ME A CREDIT CARD PACKET WITHIN 7-10 DAYS AND THEN THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE 15 DAYS TO DECIDE ON WHETHER TO ACCEPT IT OR RETURN IT

This company said they would send me a mastercard packet in 7-10 days. They would first debit my account for the set up fee of $29.95. When I received my packet I would have 15 days to decide if I wanted to continue or not. If i sent the packet back they would not debit my account.

I never received the packet but they debited my account first on 7/15/02 for 29.95. No packet. I called on 7/19/02. They said it would be at my house within a week. On 8/02/02 they debited my account a further $59.95 and $99.95.

When i called them again and asked what was going on the person

on the phone said it would arrive soon. Still did'nt arrive.

Called them back again. I told them i just wanted it cancelled. She informed me that since it was past thirty days I would have to write a letter to the home office for a refund. Even though I had yet to receive a packet of any kind and it had been close to three months. She gave an address to a place in miami Beach
florida. She would not give me a telephone number.

On talking to the Better Business Bureau in Florida, they informed me that it was just a forwarding address. What a surprise, HaH.

At this point i have received no satisfaction whatsoever. They also tried to further debit my account with two other debits totalling $154.95 for two other services I never received any info on either. One was Hartford Auto insurance and the other was some bargain place( Ill find name at other time and add).

So I would like to hear any thing else i can do, though I am not finished yet. To me it is the principle . Iwould like to know why this crap is allowed and what else can be done. (P The supervisor of this company informed me that I wasn"t forced to give my bank account number and that she would never give her account number out. But it seems its okay for her to work for a company that seems to like to promise things they have no intention of delivering but taking their money,. and of course she wouldnt give me her name)

In closing I would love to hear from this company and like to
hear what their going to do about this!!!

Sincerely PISSED OFF

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

#3 Consumer Suggestion

another way to get your money back

AUTHOR: Joe - ()

POSTED: Saturday, September 21, 2002

Call the electronic banking department of your bank. tell them you got scammed by these weasels. Since they are not an authorized issuer of mastercard, the bank will credit back the money. But mine charged $20 for each transaction, but it only takes 3-5 days. but you have to do it within 60 days,or it will be too late. Also file comlaints with BBB,and FBI in Waco, also the postal inspector(mail fraud)

MORE IMPORTANT TO POST ON RIP-OFF REPORT THAN WITH THE BBB OR ATTORNEY GENERAL

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 19, 2002

Listing your complaint on many Government links are no better than the BBB and are most likely just a waste of time, giving you false hope. Many government sites (like the BBB) just collect all information from you, the consumer, but never make that information available for all to see, so consumers will NOT be educated as to what exactly they should be looking out for. By these agencies not letting you see these complaints, making them public, you never know how bad the company or individual rip-off really is.

On the other hand, many government agencies have and do come to the Rip-off Report for information. We have been assisting many government agencies for some time now, including the FBI and Attorney General offices from around the country..

Now that all these Rip-off Reports are out in the open for everyone to see, in a way, this embarrasses these agencies into doing something when they see so many reports on a Company or Individual, because they are now out in the open for all to see.

Unfortunately, many (not all) Attorney General Office's and government agencies will not move against a rip-off unless there is going to be some sort of publicity on the rip-off.

By reporting your experience on the Rip-off Report, is the next best thing to getting your story on TV or in a newspaper. Most national TV networks and many local TV stations from all around the country also come to the Rip-off Report for information they will not get from the BBB, Attorney General office's or any other government agency.

Rip-off Report has instigated many local and national stories, resulting in help for victims' world wide, in one way or another. Most government agencies will never even bother with rip-offs unless it involves $50,000 or more.

Now that the government is cutting back even more dollars for these types of programs, this number will even get higher and we can expect even less to get done, by even less people to work on all these rip-offs.
