Capital Management Services, LP Collection Tactics, threatning letters & contact - OUTSIDE NY STATE's CREDIT STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS Buffalo, New York

BEWARE EVERYONE  -WHO GETS CONTACT FROM THEM !

This company contacted me via letter in the mail. No special delivery, no certified mail, just a letter demanding payment of the amount they say I owe. As a NY State Resident, I know they can not collect unsecure debt(s) over 6 years old, and the debt they've contacted me about is nearly 20 years old, was a "Charge Off" by the original creditor, and is not on my current credit report.  I lived with the information being on my credit report for 7 years, when the debt originally "Charged Off" - but it was removed from my credit report even, 5 or more years ago.  Therefore this company is really off base trying to collect a penny from me at this time.

Do not let this company threaten or harrass you, if you have been contacted by them. Know your rights in the State you live in. This company is operating with underhanded tactics and threats.  DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY ON ANY DEBT OVER 6 YEARS OLD -  or you will open the door for them to pursue you. The statute of limitations resets if you send them money and acknowledge they're accusations have merit. 

I've written NY Senators Schumer and Gillibrand of the US Congress about this company and the recent communications I've received from them, asking for these SENATORS to become aware of who this company is, and how this company is harrassing people, like me and possibly targeting elderly people, who may receive such letters as I did, and without legal consent submit to the heavy threats they throw around. "Worse yet, I've discovered that this company's address is the SAME AS - US SENATOR GILLIBRAND's DISTRICT OFFICE IN BUFFALO NY !! They are on the 7th floor, her office is on the 5th - same street address ! This company is right under the nose of our Senator, and is bullying good people and US citizens every day.

Do not pay this company anything, not ever, till they take you to court and sue you, or you are likely throwing money out the window and creating a nightmare for yourself.
