Capital Management, camco MY MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE WAS CANCELLED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING FROM THESE SLEEZEBAGS IN.woodland Hills California
*Consumer Suggestion: CAMCO STRIKES AGAIN
*Consumer Suggestion: WHAT?
If anyone knows if it is alright for this company to have your insurance cancelled and collect the refund due to you sent directly to them please let me know. this company has been calling me for i dont know what. I called and asked what the four phone calls a day were for i have been getting from the number off my caller id they tell me they have no information.
I finally looked up the name and found it was a credit collection. ANd after days i still dont know what they are trying to collect for. I ran my credit report and found no negatives on it. I am so ****ed that State Farm allowed something like this to happen without notifying me.

CAMCO STRIKES AGAIN

Sam,
I too was scammed by "SCAMCO" with a different issue, but I found this website and did what needed to be done.
I have found the State's Insurance Division to be quite helpful when it comes to dirty dealings.
Contact: Commonwealth of xxxxxx, Office of Consumer Affairs & Bus. Regulations, Division of Insurance.
As far as CAMCO goes, send them a cease and desist letter. You can reference this website for a sample letter:

They cannot contact you after this, and always
ask them if you can record the phone conversation-they love that! I'm surprised they took things this far, maybe you could find out the person's name who messed with State Farm and have some of their insurance cancelled. Ha! Good Luck.

If I understand your post correctly, Camco had your insurance cancelled and then collected the refund? Do you have this in writing from your insurance company? If so, contact your state insurance commisssioner, your state attorney general's office, and you might also try your local District Attorney's office. If another company did what you say they did, I believe it could be viewed as fraud. Good luck.
